Zone H2 Handy Recorder problem??

Got one of these for my brother to record his sets with. Worked fine 1st week.

Now he says that recordings sound shithouse(not his mixing) and that when he inserts the "line in" cord, it doesnt disable the microphone automatically like it should??

Anyone have any ideas or can tell me where in sydney i can take it to have it looked at?

talk to them for anyone in sydney, but it sounds like a PEBCAK issue.

reset the thing, if there is a reset button or rip the batteries out for 30 seconds, then go back through the manual step by step to record line in.
