Laptop Stand

Hey all,

Just moved in to my new house and am creating a spot for my decks. I just bought an expedit 79x79 cm bookcase to fit my CDJ400's on and my numark dxm09 mixer. Everything fits snug (small lounge room and so this is all I could fit my decks on to where I wanted to put them) and so I am just looking for a laptop stand I can attach to the book case in order to run my laptop through my decks.

I am looking at getting this laptop stand to attach to the bookcase.

If anyone has any other laptop stand suggestions that would be great. Just don't want to block the use of my mixer with the laptop stand too much.

They look pretty sweet, you'll be hard pressed to find anything that good at a compariable price...and you wouldn't really need the clamps as the main pic shows the base is so flat, just sit it there, put mixer on top of the base

Looks like it should be high enough to do that...next best option is the Stanton Uberstand, but they're like 3x the price, minumum...but they have a small shelf under the laptop for the Serato/Traktor box, which is pretty handy

thanks random. Never thought about not bolting it on so that is a good idea about putting the stand under the mixer.

i made a stand out of L brackets and a few nuts n screws. it cost like 40$ and I like it better than my $120 road ready stand (which is too close to the mixer).

I have a mate selling his Uberstand (like the one above in the pic) for $100. He used it like once at a gig, and its just been sitting there since. Let me know if you want it. I recently bought mine and luv it. Really stable and easy to carry around.
