Hey Guys,
Hopefully this has been put in the right place, if not apologies in advance.

Recently bought 2 Stanton c314's & 1 m202 mixer off ebay. The cdj's are in fine condition (tried them with another mixer & running directly through sound system), however when running them through the mixer it provides absolutely no sound - through speakers of headphones.

Tried troubleshooting thru google but am completely stumped.

Anyone have any solutions, or has this dick tried to pull something on me?

Thanks,

prjkt

so basic steps, you've followed the connections all the way through the mixer?
input - line/phone switch - gain/trim pot - eq - channel fader & cue/pfl path

does the mixer have a level metre at all? does this show level when you're playing audio through it?

Yeah connections are all good; even downloaded the user guide and triple checked everything. It's all perfect. No level metre! no lights at all.

*edit*. keep in mind there is a power light that is on too.

Money's tight, hence it was the best i could do at the time. Meh, I'm covered under paypal's buyer protection policy or something so at least I get my $$ back for it. Just a fucking inconvenience really.

are you 100% sure you have the channel gains the eq's the upfaders and the master all turned up, and the crossfader in the middle

100% certain. Guy on ebay sent me my money back and told me to keep the mixer. Something's a little dodgey.

At least he sent you back the cash. Alot of pricks in the world wouldn't have even replied back to you.

Moral of the story is. If you can't physically check to see if gear is in working order do not fucking buy it.

You escaped the flames my friend, count yourself lucky.
