Anyone live in the inner west and is prepared to teach me/let me abuse their gear.
I would enjoy learning how to be a real dj by learning beatmatching ect on TTs or CDJs but preferably TTs.

Right now I am a music enthusiast who mucks around with music digitally cause I am shit like that.

Payment will be made in beer as I understand that is the currency going according to that add.
Grass may also be provided.

nah, most guys that know how to mix will not put up with the ear rape that will ensue

especially as you plan to abuse their gear

This is the best advice i can give

http://www.borders.com.au/book/how-to-dj-properly-the-art-and-science-of-playing-records/544915/

Buy this, read it a heap of times...........

http://www.djwarehouse.com.au/shop-by-brand/stanton/stanton-dj-lab-2-1-turntable-pack.html

then get yourself a cheap starter back like this and a few records and you are away....................

practice every night and record everything.

User patrickbateman is warned. 'be excellent to each other' is the rules. If you can't avoid being a dipshit, at least try to dress it up as lols lest you come out looking like an assbaby a la Master Bateman.

Just go out to regular small weekly nights and you'll get to know people,

Unless you're ultra introverted.

I wound up learning on an X-Session Pro. Helps you get the basics for a hundred bucks.

But yeah, if you've got weed, go make DJ friends at scene nights. :P

Hahaha alright thanks peaker. I will do that. I always end up at shit places for some reason. I need to find a few good
weekly nights. I don't really mind mid week clubbing as I work 1-9 =D
Any suggestions? Anywhere in Sydney.

What type of music do u like ? Whatever it is, just go there. I'm not trying to be a smart arse, but if u like house, there is no point becoming a regular at a dubstep night lol

I like Techno/TechHouse/Fidget/Dub/Deep House I go through phases like most people I think.

It'll take a couple of hours to get across the basics then it's up to you practicing. Have you got gear to practice on? I'll show you the basics for a case (but I"ll be drinking the majority of it, you need to think and bask in how awesome I am).
