Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right area to pop this thread up, but I couldn't find anywhere more appropriate upon having a look through. Anyhow I'm kinda torn between my choice of DVS at the moment. Traktor provides some more freedom regarding hardware choice, but I kinda like the K.I.S.S attitude of Serato.

I've got a friends TSP setup that I'm gonna give a go this weekend, however I wanted to take a look at an SL3 setup, and get a chance to spend more than 10mins getting an idea of the workflow. I was just wondering if there was any electronica DJ's out South-West Sydney way that would be willing to deal with me dropping by to check out a SL3 Setup in action, as well as just having a bit of a good ol' dj to dj chat. I'd prefer someone running a PC (and again preferably win7 64-bit).

Cheers

Why not go into a store to check it out? DJ Warehouse has an SL3 setup on display

That's the sort of the thing I was hinting with the "more than 10mins" mention in the original post. Just feels weird trying to muck around with stuff with other customers constantly walking past/wanting to also have a go etc. I was thinking also about maybe making use of the DJW exchange period to get me some decent time with it @ home. If I'm happy with it i'll hol onto it, and if not I'll switch it for traktor (which I'm having a great time with at the moment).

Oh god, why didn't I think of that. Sounds like a good plan. Hire on Saturday xD
