why was it all in his car?

locked away in a room is one thing, in a car?

maybe things a bit different in perth - but I'm paranoid about even a few stray cds lying around to attract scum, let alone my precious gear.

absolute shit of a thing to happen though and I hope the miracle comes to light and somehow at least the harddrive for the powerbook can be returned!

Had a similar thing happen to me with DJ equipment and had to ask myself the same questions....

worst part is the subsequent insurance nightmare... ugggggh...

ouch, that's rotten. Of course, the police have the serial numbers etc. I'd hire a Private Investigator if there was an original tunes involved, seriously. One from the area the gear went missing in, chances are he'll know of most of the fences working thereabouts.
