Kate Monroe & I are looking at DJing in Brisbane over the Xmas/New Year period. Could someone please forward me a contact for The Family & any other decent House clubs in Brisbane.

Kate Monroe's track selection is ok (on a good night) but can't mix 2 songs together to save her life.

Subbies could do with a break from her. Let me be the first to wish her a LONG and happy visit to Brisbane.

kate is the smoothest mixer you will ever hear and we don't want her to leave Sydney

go back downstairs & listen to the Fish "mix" "tracks"

I agree with cp911's comment. Sometimes she really rams it home, but generally I find her track selection leaves a lot to be desired.

I guess it all comes down to personal tastes in the end though.

I hope the Brisbane punters arn't as critical.

The Fish ? No thanks. But its nice of you to assume which type of music I like listening too. Cheers

Im happy to stay upstairs and see what Kate has to offer. I said she had trouble mixing, didnt say she made my ears bleed.

Bring back Jon Wall to fridays. He belts it out there every time.

If you'd like to hear Kate in full effect, I'd suggest you hear her play @ Milk 'n' 2 Sugars. Kate rocks! In so far as her track selection, if you don't like dirty, low-down grunting house, you just might be in the wrong place. :-)
