View Full Version : rendering in acid 4.0
ok so im experimenting with throwing some loops together and layering them in acid, and i seem to have a problem during rendering. during one specific mix, the beats are fine in the sequencer, but when i go to render theyre out of whack. ive tried rendering small sections to no avail. i still get this same problem. i only have it in this one portion. it plays back fine in the sequencer, and theyre all perfectly lined up there, but in render theyre way off. any help acid people?
hmmm.... I use acid and am not sure what you mean? have you laid all your samples down in acid and they are in time (they should be, that's essentially all the program does)?
In that case, once you have the track ready, you can go to save as and save as a .wav file, it should be exactly the same (similar to the mixdown in cubase)....
or are you using an external sequencer/sampler and brining tracks into acid only to find they are out of time??? in that case its probably due to acid calculating the phrase length by default, you need to go to properties and specify the exact length of the phrase...
all the tracks are laid down in acid, sequenced, sound fine. when i go to render, they go out of whack, doesnt matter if i render as a wav file or mp3 or ogg its all the same
sorry then, no idea.... I've never had it happen, it might be a bug... have you got any older versions, you could try opening it with an older version and render, or alternately export each track and open it in cubase/alternative, then mixdown again

How much did you pay for acid 4.0?
