OK team,

it's a beautiful sunny day in melbourne and me and my fellow 9-5ers are looking for a groovy place to have lunch today. We wanna sit in the sun and we are totally lost for inspiration.

Can anyone suggest anything in the richmond/city/fitzroy/carlton/collingwood area?

matt :)

EQ at Southbank have a great outdoors deck. Divine food.

Footpath dining at Suede at Smith St. Good food.

Cafe Italia just off Lygon St is awesome and sunny. Good pizza, also have lunch special that includes glass of wine for $12.

I'm off to PA's pub on Grattan St. Sunny, good and fast pub food. Need a beer to take the edge off.

what about some of the pubs with beer gardens? Anyone know of a good one off the top of your head?

The glenferrie or the Hawthorn do good meals In Hawthorn, and both have outdoor areas to sit in.

There are just so many pubs with beer gardens around town.

How about Jimmy Watsons on Lygon street? Great food, good wine.

My local and the best god damn food in the neighbourhood.

Union Club Hotel, 164 Gore St Fitzroy. Food + beer garden.

The Builders Arms, Gertrude St Fitzroy. Outdoors dining + posh pub food.
