anyone here got ghost recon on xbox?! im thinking of buying it but wanted to get some opinions of whether it is good or not....? i dig the first two in the rainbow six series.....

and dont compare it to splinter cell ;)

i couldn't get anywhere in the pc version, it was stupidly hard it seemed. maybe its just not the typ of game i'm good at.. :meh:

if the PC version is anything like The Sum of All Fears, then it's too easy. but then again i've played most of the Rogue Spears etc..

Ghost Recon on the PC rocked. Hard, but not impossible. It might take a few tries at a mission before you figure out how to pass it.

I'm not a big fan of first person shooters ported to consoles, so I'd definitely try-before-I-buy.

Buy it from Electronics Boutique ... they have a seven day policy where you can take it back if you dont like it and exchange it for something else ..... I tried about 5 games over 5 weeks once and they couldnt care less .......
You do however have to settle on a game in the end cause they dont refund ..... !!!!

Hornsby store the best - in the new westfield ...... Look for the young dude with the spiky hair ...... he knows everything about xbox... apparently has two so he and his mates can link em all up and play eight players .....


With regards to ghost recon , I havent played it but mates have and say its pretty damn good !!!!

I've played ghost recon on the xbox and I think it is excellent.

Movement etc is fairly simple, the squad based tactics work well and all together it has a good difficulty curve.

Its not an out and out blaster, but nothing beats crawling through 30 metres of scrub to snipe someone in the head from 300 metres........ in a video game of course
