Renaissance Summer Ball - Let down

Well well well - May I 1st say I had a blast on Sunday night and JJ was as always - spot on, riding the line of cheese again but still an entertainer as well as a DJ! Plus - Dave Seaman.... WELL DONE!
BUT Delirium - whats going on??
Where were thoes busses with pumpin sound systems and FREE Red Bull Slushies??? After a the annoucement that it was a split venue which was a worry at 1st - The idea grew on me and my fellow cyberKiDs as the busses became a novelty! But when It came time to do a planned 'BUS SESSION' Both I and my friends were scared by the school bus style with BRIGHT white lights and nooooo sound - I heard one was playing 94.5FM at one stage of the night -Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Was it me? Am I just bitchy after a long and hard come down - or was it just applicable to everyone?

Well...I thought Jules should have played last so we all could have gone home without having to stand through 2hrs of cheap, predictable tunes. Timo's set was much tighter than his last one @ Globe. The crowd just love this guy and respect goes out to him for pushing his own sound. As for Seaman...his first four mixes were so bad it made me cringe. World class DJ..not! Better had stick to doing his great studio mixes. But for me the standout set was from local boy Chad D. Tight mixing,great programming , most of the crowd had no idea he's local! And it was so cool of him to keep superstar Jules waiting 10mins on stage as he cued up another track.
Oh, 10 points to EM 10 Lighting. Very cool, very stylish..very Renaissance.

Totally agree with you about Chad D. He was great. Will be looking out for him on a regular basis now.
