Do any Perth people gwet into the joy that is Rhibosome ?

I discovered this group about 6 months ago and just cant get enough of their sweet sweet funk. Do they play locally much ? Are they popular in Perth? tell me tell me !

yeah rhibosome are wicked. have you looked at their site ? http://www.rhibosome.com its got lots of info. they play every week at a venue in fremantle and at random venues all over the place. in fact theyre playing at technique on april 28th.

as sean says, these guys play all the time and are very popular, and very well respected by other artists, bands and dj's in the dance music/electronica scene.
they are touring the uk in a few months and should have their album, 'rhiboflavin' out some time soon, although that's been said for aaages. there should hopefully be an interview with them on ITM in the next week or so... watch this space

Oh hang on, upon checking up on a randomly chosen 'sean' post, I discovered, that sean is infact playing on the 28th.

I think they should change it to Rhibosome supporting Sean on the 28th of May... Matbe then Delerium could actually draw a crowd to Technique, especially since it was so empty on the opening night ;) ;).

Yeah I have checked the website. I unfortunatley hadn't bothered to check them out until late last year afetr stumbling across a promo 12" at Rechin Records. I then found out they had just played Sydney about 3 weekends earlier...bloody typical !

Wicked stuff indeed, hope they kick some serious butt o/s and get a great break... first the Avalances , next Rhibosome...then.....Sean ?

it has been advertised as 'sean chee' so that might be the one. i think he plays from 10 till 11:30

don't know anything about it at this stage, but if anyone can hunt them down, offer them some exposure on ITM.

regarding the interview, it will be delayed due to the band's busy schedule, but keep an eye out...
