Any truth to the rumours that Halo is coming out on PS2?

If so, can anyone suggest URL for me to read?

I really don't think the PS2 could even handle it, if it did come out it would be scaled down and you wouldn't get any of the wicked battles you get on the xbox. It is coming out on PC this year, not strange since it was meant to be for pc anyway!

The next thing to look out for is Unreal 2 which is due out 28th Feb which should be wicked!!

like vadaar says, it's exclusive to xbox, meaning its not coming out on other consoles, just pc. i dont really think that is exclusive, but anyway... :)

halo will be gracing the pc shortly (now?)
halo2 will not be, at least for a 6-12mth period.

despite any technical limitations, its unlikely that either will get a port to any other platform given that bungee are owned by MS.

I disagree... MS made Age of Empires which is now on PS2, and I dont think they will turn down an oppurtunity to make more money at all..

Just look at all the other "exclusive" games that have crossed platforms... Metal Gear Solid, GTA3 etc etc...

Yeah, I know this is old news... now :)

But this is new :-

Microsoft have released what they call "Halo 2 Photo Story" a movie filled with screenshots of Bungie's sequel shooter. Like most Xbox gamers we are hungry for anything relating to Halo 2. Most of the screenshots we have seen before, but we can't get enough of them as it is.
