It was interesting to read on the Sydney threads about the absolute debacle that Dyewitness was on NYE - he only played for 20mins (live) instead of 1.5hours!! a lot of people were dissapointed it seems! :meh:

1. Brisk & Trixxy - eyeopener
1.5. Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo present Starsplash-wonderful days
1.75. Dune - I can't stop raving
My ultimate fantasy album would mostly be happy hardcore tunes!
woopsy I forgot my second favourite!
2. Pulp shock- far away.
Los Pablos - Its a Dream is a mad song.
But fav at the moment?
Have to be Scott Brown - Rocking ya soft.

Yes... apparently there were funding difficulties... *cough* :|
And Alien Factory... damn, that brings back some memories... ;D
And who can forget 'I Wanna Be A Hippy' by Technohead... that had a cracker of a film clip.
There was this one track going back oh... 7 years or so *gulp* how old am I. Don't know the artist or title but was an absolute floor filler everytime, used to go off my nutter to it when It was dropped, (and by some of the greats too- SlipMatt, Brisk, Sy, Hixxy) it went-- 'now is the time' -- and then kapowy with the frantic HHC bets, oooh *shiver* :tripping:
sorry bit vague, anyone.... please 8-)

Hydra - that would be.....Now Is the Time - Scott Brown - which would be one of the most remixed hardcore tunes of all time i reckon!! Was stomping when it came out around 94 i think?

Heist here
Hixxy & Trixxy remix of now is the time is golden!
The evolution re-release of this had the original, hixxy & trixxy remix and the dead bangin 2001 remix all on the 1 vinyl. What a package!
Dj UFO - connection
when he dropped that at warp.....my legs went week (but then they hardened up real quick and dragged me to stomp)
Some wicked tracks already been mentioned.
One of my faves would have to be Kevin Energy - Vertigo (I think thats what its called) purely for the fact that it brings back so many memories of Mr S stompin set mid last year. I can't wait till he comes back.
More recent ones
Robbie Long and Devastate - 50,000 Watts of Hardcore Power (Oh the memories of Shutdown:blush: )
Plus System - Neck Breaker
Oh and Just Accept It (can't remember who by......purely for the sample in it......GOLD!)
Ravelander

critical mass - happy generation (FTMFW !!)

Dyewitness (damn straight!! ... what hardcore is meant to sound like)
Eclipse - Ultraworld 5 (the most recent discovery, and smashing my brain everytime i hear it)
Ultrasonic - Obsession (one of those tracks i would kill to hear on a rave rig)
Hixxy - Set you free ... (best night ever, when at critical mass 2006?)

anyone on here ever herd Scott Brown- na na na????
anyone on here ever herd Scott Brown- na na na????
Yep, I know it. It's certainly a decent track, but the hard thing about rating Scott's productions is that he has such a high benchmark having produced a fair few all time legend type tracks such as Rezerection Anthem, Now is the Time, Elysium etc etc etc.
That's what happens when you're such a talented producer though.

"Heist9000 Midas - Groovecontroll
Sequential One - back to unity
Jimmy J & Cru-lt - 6 Days "
Good choices Heist! 6 days is definitely right up there for me! I have so many favourite happy hardcore tunes..
Most Uplifting by DJ Ham is one. Very cheesy but at the time when it was released it was very original and an instant classic is Toytown by hixxy and sharkey.
Other tracks that I'm a big fan of is Billy Bunter - Ride like the Wind and JDS - Higher Love!
My all time favourite though has to be Force & Styles - Pretty Green Eyes!
Cheers
