Lady Luck

What do you peeps think about this new feature soon to be integrated into mobile phones?
Basically, you enter your own profile into the phone network's database as well as the profile of the ideal partner that you would like to meet.
When somebody that fits the descriptiom of your ideal partner is 100 metres away from you, your mobile phone starts vibrating, increasing in intensity as you get closer and closer to your destined to be, basically working as a sonar.
And it would probably disclose the exact position of your perfect match by ringing once they are in close proximity.
Or sumfink like that.
Cyberdating is cool for peeps who are already in a serious relationship but are bored and wanna try a relationship with someone new without actually trying someone new, if you get my drift. It's like a joy ride or computer game. They can still get the same thrills but none of it is really happening in reality.
It's pretty convenient if you ask me and is a pretty innovative way of using existing technology to enhance our love *cough*sex*cough* life.
I can foresee a problem with the concept though:
scenario one:
A sleazeball sexually harasses some random hot blonde chicadee on the street. She of course takes offence and files sexual harassment charges.
The sleazeball's lawyer makes this defence statement in court:
"My client's mobile phone notified him that she was his perfect mate and that they were compatible with each other... Your honour, my client was only acting on that recommendation!."
Files are dropped against him and instead the mobile company gets sued for encouragement of a sexually devious act.
