Simpsons best 25 episodes ever !

Entertainment Weekly released what they think to be the best 25 episodes of the Simpsons ever, I don't really agree with them all but they did a good job..

Best Episode ever..

1) Last Exit to Springfield - Lisa gets braces and homer loses the dental plan.

2) Rosebud - Burns loses Bobo the Bear and Maggie finds him.

3) Cape Feare - one of my favourites, based on the movie Cape Fear.

4) Marge v's the Monorail - Lyle Lanley sells the town a monorail, Homer becomes the pilot, Marge fights the system.

5) Homer's Phobia - Homer is paranoid that a gay man is going to convert Bart "He didn't give you gay, did he ?"

6) Mr Plow - Classic Homer, and he is good at something "Call Mr Plow, that's my name. That name again, Mr Plow"

7) Itchy and Scratchy Land - The Theme park episode based on the popular TV cartoon.

8) A Fish Called Selma - Troy McClure "Sleeps with the fishes" he needs a woman to save him from the media and the focus on his 'romantic abnormality" Selma is the lucky girl.

9) Treehouse of Horror V - Classic 3 part Halloween episode - The Shinning based on Stephen Kings, the Shining. No TV and no Beer make Homer something something" Time and Punishment - Homer goes back in time with his toaster. Nightmare Cafeteria - a totally 'cromulent' episode.

10) The last temptation of Homer - Burns gets a female employee that Homer must go on a conference with. Homer tries to stay faithful.

11) Duffless - Homer gets busted for driving DUI and has to give up beer.

12) I Love Lisa - Lisa gives Ralph a valentines card and proceeds to break his heart.

13) The City of NY v's Homer Simpson - Barney ditches homers car in NYC and homer and the family must go retrieve it.

14) Twenty Two short films about Springfield - Everyone in Springfield gets some screen time with tiny spots for almost everyone.

15) Homer at the bat - Homer joins Burns' softball team, has many guest characters.

16) Flaming Moe's - Homer invents a flaming cocktail that Moe steals and makes loads of money off, Homer then destroys the secret and sends himself broke.

17) Bart the Daredevil - Bart decides he will jump Springfield Canyon on his skateboard, Homer stops him and makes the jump himself. Contains a hilarious Ambulance scene.

18) Homer Badman - Homer is accused of sexually abusing the babysitter after he finds the gummie venus demilo stuck to her butt. Homer S - portrait of an ass grabber.

19) Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase - The Simpsons toy with the idea of minor character spin off shows.

20) Radio Bart - Bart fakes Timmy, the orphaned boy that fell down a well and finds himself in a tight spot.

21) Life on the Fast Lane - Homer gives Marge a bowling ball for her birthday only it has his name on it, marge takes up bowling and meets the charismatic Jacques.

22) How I spent my strummer vaction - Homer goes to the Rolling Stones' Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp. Just aired two weeks ago in Australia.

23) The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show - Itchy and Scratchy need another character to liven up thier show. Homer gets the part of Poochie, the dog with attitude.

24) Simpson and Delilah - Homer becomes a young go getter after he gets some hair growth formula. He also kisses Karl in this episode.

25) - Who shot Mr Burns 1 & 2 - Who could forget this cliff hanger..

and the worst episode ever was

Bart to the Future - Where lisa becomes the President and Bart is a pony tailed slacker... "We didn't know it was physically possible for something to both suck and blow"

So that's it, what do you think ??

I personally can't believe that they left out the pot smoking episode, that was hilarious.

* The Chilli Cook off

* The Hank Scorpio episode

* The X files episode

* The Burlesque house

* The Pot episode

* The episode about Lisa's first words

* The episode why there are no photos of maggie in the albumn

* The Springfield lemmon tree

The Who shot Mr burns was one of the worst ones I have seen, I don't know how that made the list.

Personally, i think the chilli episode is only funny for the chilli bit, then pretty boring with all the trippy stuff - well there arn't many jokes anyway.

I think Milhouse is the funniest character.

personnally, i think they must have only looked at the first few seasons to come up with that list. There like the all time most played episodes, not the best.

I love the one where bart gets the wonder dog and finishes with chief wiggum and co. smoking up iwth bob marley's "jammin" playing during the credits. I remember seeing that episode in the states in 97 and having to wait ages to see it in aus. The scorpio is another classic, also saw it first time in the states.

Tonights new episode was pretty funny. Man fox are goin get a hell of a lot of money out me. Considering the DVD box sets are goin for $70-$80 a pop, and i think the have just renewed the contract to run another 2 seasons, taking it to a massive 14, means lots more money goin there way from me. Although it'll take a few years for them all to make it to DVD.
