Make - Up used properly can enhance certain features of a woman.... Even the celebrities who cake on make up, take it all off and they are still attractive underneath....

It's spelt "beauty" by the way.
I wear a little, not much. Just enough to outline my eyes and make them stand out!
As they say, less is more.

who watches Joe MIllionaire? That Mojo tart looked shocking without her makeup yuko.
I think make-up should be used to enhance natural features, not caked on to create a totally new face.
I never wear foundation, it would drive me nuts if I were to wear it every day.
And girls that won't let their boyfriends see them without makeup (so get up early to put it on before he wakes up) or won't go to the shops without makeup, have issues.

Not all of them though, have you seen the new weekly edition of stars without make up, some of them are completely different people without it.

I hate girls that pack on sooo much make-up that when they smile their face cracks... It's just soooo wrong.
I find that chicks who wear more make-up than what is really necessary are usually pretty ugly when they take it off.
Personally I wear a tiny bit of make up, I usually just wear a light foundation and eye make-up... Although my sexy boi bought me this really kewl high shine lip gloss that i've been wearing a bit lately :p
i cant be botherd with make up hardly and if i do its just some blush and mascara i hate the feel of all foundation and crap on my face but i suppose if i had bad skin i would be using it.
but heaps of guys i know hate in when girls wear heaps of makeup.
It does make a difference. Especially when the chick is as ugly as sin.

it does make a difference
some people are naturally beautiful & others need a little to cover up a few ugly spots or pimples
beauty though - as they say, is in the eye of the beholder
and its only skin deep

i wear make up cause it gives me confidence when i go out... it makes me feel prettier and thats what its about for ME
perfect example of a chick who would be nothing without make- up, that Aguilera woman.
Make up is cool, as long as you can't notice that its there....the 'orange perfume-counter girl' look is not too hot:)

A little make-up is good to highlight features as other people have said. I wear a little foundation, just to cover the zits, and a bit of eyliner. But thats about it. I couldn't stand caking it on everyday like some people do.

Make up - is too damn expensive to be used everyday (I use estee lauder) - I don't bother with make up for work, when going out subtle is the way, make up should be used to enhance what you have, not to cover up or create something else.
Make up does make a difference e.g. if your an ugly pig, you could be transformed into a glammer using make up as a masque, take it off and eughhhhhhhh yuk says the boy that took it home the night before, it's like finding out that bra was padded, it aint tha real thing baby.
Going au naturale is the test for real beauty.

The history of make up comes from prostitutes
Lipstick was used to accentuate the lips to advertise BLOWJOBS…
Physical beauty is only skin deep…
Die cosmo die
Last year I was friends with this REALLY hot New Zealand chick (Nuuu Zaland chuck :P ) and she used to cake it on with a broom :O
I could usually tell that she did this by the line where the makeup ended around the ear/neck area
saw a chick on the bus 2day, see her quite often on the bus and at tafe couple of times, well she looked awful, no make up at all, then on the bus she started applying all kind of foundation or something that made her face look tanned, then she did her face with powder, then lipstick then eye lashes and eye brows then she took out one of those model ads from courier mail for those models/actors/extras needed ad

it all depends on the face i reckon. some people suit it and some dont. when applied right it looks great.
personally i like it, it makes me feel pretty, and i dont think i should be ashamed of that. sometimes i'll just wear a little bit, but damn it, if i feel like looking glam, i will!!
If you're already beautiful and you wear makeup - it's amazing.

Make up can make a girl feel more attractive and I dont see what could be wrong with that. Excessive make up can look really terrible and I agree that some girls *do* look better without it. However, my bet is that if all us girls went to a club with no make up at all we'd be classed as mingers. Well, I'd feel like one anyway:p

some make-up company took 3 males and asked them if they prefer a chick with or with out make up, all 3 males said without. so the make up artist found a pair of identical twins, one of which they did a natural looking make-up job on and the other went without, they presented the twins to all 3 males and all 3 prefeered the chick with the make-up.
you learn interesting stuff by being a nutrimetics consultant.
when done properly, and i mean no orange lines around the hairline and neckline or foundation in the eyebrows and as long as it's been blended properly and evenly, make-up gives the illusion of flawless skin, and helps to highlight a persons best features. does that answer your question?

i wear make-up all the time and i get very few blemishes, but, perhaps thats because i use skincare products also, and i actually know quite a few guys who use them too. eating particular foods cause pimples etc. as i said b4 make-up also highlights a chicks best features when it's been applied properly.
and i get money back off all the products i buy with tax as well as getting a 30% discount off when i buy as i only use nutrimetics.

Another interesting thing, when I used to the goths thing 10 years ago, there were some goths who would never let their close friends see them without makeup - insecurities or what!!

I wear very little make up, if any at all. I don't see the need to plaster your face in heaps of the stuff, I don't think it does anyone any favours.
I think keeping it natural and to a minimum looks better but I have friends who look stunning in a full face of makeup - eyeshadow, lippie etc. I just don't personally like the way i look with a lot of make up on, it doesn't suit me at all.

me a super slacky slacky bum bum. Kind of chic who doesn't bother putting underwear on or change out of pyjamas to go out of doors. As for makeup, fat chance! I dab on a little lippy every now & then, rarely mascara - but eyeliner or foundation, haven't tried that for several years. Fortunately I have a pretty face with even pale skin & dark features, long lashes, full lips, round eyes, etc. Cuts the time to get ready for work down to 15min. But the best thing is... your partner gets to wake up next to the same person they went to bed with.
I hate the smell of makeup - especially foundation (reminds me of my great aunt). Some chics, you can smell it before they walk in the door - yuck!
Yeah fo sure.
I need it due to my fair skin and hair. If I dont use mascara, all you would see is my beedy lil eyes staring right at ya. I need it so that you can see my lashes.
Lipstick is a major also, cause they pump them up giving them the appearance of full sexy lips, so it looks heaps better than thin pale lips. And I only use concealer to hide the zits etc. Your skin is beautiful and you dont need to hide it under all that goop. :)
Afterall, your gonna wake up next to him one day and you dont wanna shock him too much.
This one girl I know seriously takes 3 hours to get ready. A friend thru a friend thing, girls weekend away down the gold coast, and blow me, if I hadda know it would take her that long (takes me 20 mins tops, hair and make-up) woulda bloody made sure she was showered and half way thru before any of us started. Meanwhile, we all got majorly plastered on the veranda, blowing kisses to all the cute boys

As others have said before me, some woman look better with a little make up and others without.
My mother, for instance, has a youthful, olive complexion and beautiful skin. She has never really worn much make up, and if she has, only small amounts. She looks after her skin and eats a healthy diet (which contributes to the condition of your skin). She is one example of a woman who looks better without make up.
I use a little bronzing powder (because I'm so goddamn white) only to even out my complexion and hide my faint yet visible freckles (yes, I have freckles :( ). I use a little mascara and eyeshadow to enhance my eyes (and hide bags  ), and shape my eyebrows  and that's about it. On the weekends, I usually go without and allow my skin to breathe in the fresh air. If I go out, I use a little mascara and that's it, it becomes uncomfortable after a while.
As for the photographs above of the female stars, their photos are airbrushed to perfection so they appear perfect, flawless and beautiful. When in reality, they are just like you and I, if not worse

i wear the tiniest bit of makeup, mascara, eyeliner and a bit of foundation if i could be bothered. I reckon it makes a difference, but too much is soooooo gross and cheap-looking.

No I can't say I have Fairy. Nor would I try. I have to be careful which products I use on my face. Not only do I have extremely sensitive skin, I also wear contacts and my eyes irritate easily. I can just picture myself ripping fake eyelashes off my eyes and injuring myself somehow.
haha well as i'm doing a course to be a make up artist, i can tell you that they wont affect your contacts, and the glue you use doesn't even have to touch the skin. Ha but yeah some of the girls in my class ripped them off right away, cuz they feelt funny hehe

I've had my eyelashes permed (bonus of working in a salon that did everything) and tinted several times. Afterwards you don't need mascara at all. I was quite pleased with the results.

I used to do waxing, eyebrow/eyelash tinting and eyelash perming when I was hairdressing. Luckily for me, nearly al my mates are guys and don't want that stuff done to them. It's strictly colours (my fave anyway!) and that's it. No extra work for me

Of course makeup makes a difference ... that celebrity site shows how much. The problem is that people can't recognise when ppl are beautiful without makeup. I mean, some of those celebs are attractive anyway, but ppl won't notice until they basically write it in neon by putting on a ton of makeup.
It's called - GUYS ARE BLIND, stack it on to make em notice.
I always hear guys say they prefer chicks who don't wear makeup but again and again they perve at the ones who do. Lots of it. Even if the chick is obviously not much without it. And they ignore the girls who would obviously be knockouts with makeup if they aren't wearing any. It comes from movies/mags etc where the chicks are stacked with makeup and the movie/mag etc is trying to pass off their look as natural. I wonder if guys think that IS the natural look. It's amusing but kinda sad.
i reckon most women dont need foundation, are cute without it and i dont like it. but a little blush, eyeliner and mascara look good on chicks -- and i just LOVE lipstick on women. that said, most beauty is really about ATTITUDE...

I dont usually wear alot, I find that Loreal true match minerals ($11 from my local market, $37 at priceline) works wonders it isnt bad for my skin at all, which then leads me to not need any :)
