Another USA School Shooting!

There has been another school shooting in USA, some kid brought his AK-47 into school and shot a bunch of ppl in the gym.

killed 1 person, but what i wanna know is... how the fuck could a kid bring an AK-47 into school without someone noticing?

I'd like to know HTF they OBTAINED said weapons... let alone bringing them to school. While I firmly believe in the right to own a gun (even an AK-47), there is no way kids should have access to them.

you might mean fully automatic, semi-autos have many hunting purposes.

this did say it was gang related ( not to lessen the crime) so its not exactly the same as one of those isolated kids who comes to school and shoots randoms.

an AK-47 is a fully automatic assult rifle, not a semi-automatic hunting rifle. I don't belive civilians need AK-47s or AR-15s or colt bushmasters (the latter are the civ versions of the M16-A2 & the colt M4)

the onyl problem I had with the introduction of australias new gun laws was the banning of semi-auto hunting firearms, if they had left sporting shooters their 10-shot semi auto .22s and their 5-shot auto shotguns there would have been no complaits at all from the sporting shooters, only from a few rightwing nutjobs. but as it was it alienated average recreational shooters.

Personally, depleating numbers of recreational shooters doesn't bother me. But I can see why some people would be pissed off.

Anyone have any idea on roughly how many people are recreational shooters in Australia?
