Maybe its cos exams are boring, but I'm really looking forward to this match. Agassi definitely has the history but everyone keeps saying Poo man is on form. And when he's on form...

Good luck to him. I can't wait.

Poo is a myth. Agassi will make him look like an amateur. Though, since he's the only Aussie, good luck to him (even though he seems like a knob).

Agassi should win.
All philippousis has is his serve & if that doesn't work then he'll lose in straight sets.

and all agassi has is a return...i hope agassi loses. Shitty backcourt players ruining wimbledon

GO AGASSI!

Return of serve to GOOD and too consistant for phillippoussis (despite his killer serves)

If you seriously think that all he has is a return, then you're really not that sharp! You don't win multiple grandslams and reach no1 in the world nowadays with just one weapon.

GO AGASSI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people are forgetting the fact that Goran Ivanisevic, (whose only weapon is a serve), beat Pat Rafter in a Wimbeldon Final. Pat Rafter may not equal to the talent of Aggasi but they both have great returning games.

The playing surface favours a great server, therefore the odds are in Mark's advantage. Whether he will take advantage of that edge is a different story all together. Aggasi is a lot more mentally stable under pressure and will probably just beat him.

Go the Poo!

Mark has been playing some great tennis as you'd know if you had been watching him. He needs to do two things to win:
1. Capitalise on his break points and set points. I think he got maybe 2/14 or so the other night which is just lame. Needs to fire that big serve up for the points that matter
2. Stop double faulting!

Mark's passing shots and volleys have been pretty good, well controlled and accurate. He just doesnt have that mental stability on the big points. Goes for the big shots and throws the big points away.

I want the Poo to win but i think Agassi's experience will win through in the end.

I'd love to see a match between Roddick and the Scud. That'd be great, but very unlikely!

I miss pete! :(

I watched Poo at Kooyong this year and it was so boring because he's such a one trick pony if his game isn't on. I haven't watched any of his matches since then, so I hope he's in good form tonight

disagree.. philo has a great serve but also has a top class bach court game when he is in form.

Agassi will probably win but if philo gets the first set, it may put Agassi under some pressure.. hopefully

Somebody get an extinguisher. We cant have the great Australian hope in the burns unit :P

It's good to see Mark doing so well and finally beating Andre at the 7th attempt. Good on him.

I still want Henman to win Wimbledon as I'm a hopeless one eyed pommie geezer, but I want to see Mark do well. He was really on top of his game and getting better and better a couple of years ago and then he got injury problems and personal issues that saw him drop right down the rankings.

It is good to see him finally coming good.

What a champ.

Lamb - i think he beat agassi in the first match they ever played - it was 1-6 W-L against the Philippoussis.

Start of the second set was v. shaky, good on him though. when i went to bed at 2-1 i didn't back him to win.

Sorry, thats what I meant, but expressed badly.
He had lost 6 times to Agassi since the last time he beat him.

Not a bad match at all. I was hoping Andre would win, but Poo's serve was too good, and Agassi made some fatal errors in the last few games. $20 says poo will falter in his next match. The boy has a habit of kicking the giants ass and then going down to some wiener. Good luck to him anyway.

Its a differnt Poo this year. He's more solid, i think he's gotten his case of mental dysentry

So last nights match stopped at 2-2 in the fifth set. Some how, i think that Philippousis still relies on his serve too much. I hope he wins tonight, but i don't know if he will because of his inconsistency. It all depends on how his serve goes.

Well, he's been very patchy hasn't he.

What was he like to party with Grover?

He doesnt seem to be dominating from the baseline. Lucky his serve is happening. 4 straight aces. nice

Does the Poo have to play Grosjean next?
I think he might struggle to beat him.

Yeah Grosjean looked impressive - he played Henman didn't he.

ya he did.. he did look impressive but i think if the poo keeps playing the way he is, he should win..

i think the major danger is definetly Roddick. shit he killed Bjorkman! would be good to see the final between Roddick and the Poo. :?

I feel embarassed i didn't show faith in the scud. I hope he gets his first serve percentage up against Federer. If Federer plays the some block back tactic he did against Roddick the Poo's volley should cause him some trouble.

GO THE POO!

I reckon Federer will do Poo. I watched his game against Roddick and the dudes game was picture perfect

you'd think so wouldn't you. but he has already surpassed himself getting this far, especially winning the last one in straight sets. i don't think anyone saw that coming in the slightest. the poo is a definite chance if he keeps on playing like this. i wouldn't back him but it'll be darn good (if scary!) to watch
