Has anyone else seen this show? Its quite funny.
I think it's on around 4am on Sunday nights. If anyone has a tv guide can they check when it's on next (im pretty sure its channel 9/WIN) and let me know.

i don't find his snivelling whining ways to be anything other than annoying...could be just me, also i like a bit of effort put into production, handheld can work, it also cannot

i like it. its low budget, has some great acting and have a few episodes on tape, with the one about the little girls doll being my favourite.

i didnt know it was on anymore on 9. i dont get WIN so maybe they are repeating the episodes that were on earlier in the year.

I think the handheld is part of its charm. It looks real and the skits arnt over the top. Everyday kinda stuff and the actors are good. It's not the funniest thing out but at that time of the morning, it's the next best thing to Freaks and Geeks.

The episode where the guy loses a clients account because he's wearing jeans on 'Casual Friday' and the client associates this with his work ethic is pretty funny.
As is the one where the main (whiney annoying) guy 'saves'
the jewish relative from converting is great.

Worst show ever
You cant laugh at the small things. Jackass is probably right up your alley.

- haven't seen Jackass
- don't care what my ally or allies decide to put up themselves (whoever they might be :meh: )
- nothing is up my alley, nor do I want anything shoved in there
- Curb Your Enthusiasm is strong contender for the worst show ever :|

what do you mean vital? that i might be up your alley? i don't like the dark. or do you mean that jackass, a show i've never seen is right up my alley? or was that just another assumption on your or rabblers part?

but most of all, can someone please tell me how to spell alley? or are we talking about ally's the way little johnny H does with the US?

Yeah, plus he is the voice of Steinbrinner (Costanza's boss and the owner of the Yankees baseball team) and I noticed he also played Frank Costanza's Lawyer aka the man in the cape.

That Ep's called Krazee Eyez Killah, and the good news is that it'll be on next week, or whenever they show it next on channel 9, as it's the next in the sequence.

It's one of the best ep's ever, and I can't reccomend it highly enough.

Seinfeld wasnt subtle. It was obvious from the start of each show exactly what was going to happen.

Oh no George is being miserable/tight fisted, Jerry is being self absorbed, the bint is being a fucking bint and Kramer will run into the room say something and wander out.

All the actions of the characters will lead them getting into shit, having a bad outcome because of their terrible attitudes towards the world and they wont fucking learn so we'll have to go all through it again next week.

About as subtle as 3 double decker buses with broken exhaust systems struggling up the high street in heavy traffic.

rabbler - you got a TiVo in australia? :?
A friend of mine has Tivo. He ordered parts from the US and then got someone he knows in Melbourne to do some techy stuff and viola, Tivo is here.

There's only a few hundred people who have it in Australia and it is absolutely fantastic.

IQ or whatever Fox have, is getting close to Tivo, but its not as good yet.

Tivo is expensive to set up here, (about a grand my mate paid in total) but it seems like a fantastic investment if you have some spare funds.

that reminds me of the episode of seinfeld where the show "Jerry" was aired.

How bad was the canned laughter during that pilot. it was hillarious.

Haha yes. I really don't know why shows use laugh tracks. If the show is genuinely funny, ie. Arrested Development then the program shouldn't need a laugh track.

This show is absolutely brilliant. Ive got all 5 seasons on my pc.

Saw a bit of this ages ago on comedy channel and thought it was shit, then late one night i watched a whole episode and immediately liked it after that.

The writing is genius, not that there is much "writing". Larry creates the story and most of the scenes are improvised.

Like the scene with krazy eyez killa when he sings that song to larry, larry had no idea he was gonna sing it so all his reactions were real. Plus the actor wrote the lines himself.

Still dont know whether there will be a sixth season, the last episode of season 5 looked like the series finale. Hopefully it isnt.

HBO still has Enthusiasm

HBO is still enthusiastic about comedian Larry David's Emmy Award-winning series Curb Your Enthusiasm, renewing the series for a sixth season.

The fifth season was considered the last - the final episode was even titled "The End" - but after a break between seasons, David reportedly feels
prepared to write and star in 10 more episodes.

A spokeswoman for HBO said that the new season is slated to begin production in October. Series stars Cheryl Hines and Jeff Garlin, who play David's wife
and his manager, are expected to return.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is nominated for five Emmys this year, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
