i dont know if anyone has started the thread yet for the new series of this show.
im getting into it alot this time, i have to watch the 1st episode of a series to get into it.
it was pretty good on wednesday night but the tasks were a bit boring, hopefully they get better as the group gets smaller
I love this show - this one is getting ugly from day 1!!!!!
I think if there was any reality tv show I wanted to be in the Amazing Race would be it for sure!!!!

yeah its so good, i wish that they would do an australian one and i could be on it, its the only reality tv show that i enjoy watching, we should lobby together to get it put on earlier, and then heaps more people will jump on the bandwagon, and then they will make an aussie one, and i can go on it.

It is great.
Where do you sign up for it?? A friend of mine and I would fucking kick arse, we met when we lived in the same apartments in Bangkok, and used to travel a bit together, and we werk together really well.
The key to travel is no matter what do not lose your humor, if you can laugh at shit you will get through...... getting into a strop will only make things worse.... But it is great to see all the Americans get into hissy fits.....

you can tell that they have a camera with them all the time cause in cars the passangers are always behind the driver cause the cameraman rides shotgun.
My favourite were the ones who were eliminated in venice, when they were in the gondola she was all like, man you should apreciate this, we might lose but this is so beautiful, and the who three days he had been so grumpy, and didnt enjoy it.
If you were going to be in it you couldnt simply play to win, you would have to make a pact to enjoy youself the whole time otherwise why bother?

i dont like her or her boyfriend much, he is to bossy. But I was so glad that the father and son got kicked to the curb, the son really annoyed me, he reminded me sortof jack from the osbournes, but he was just so annoying, trying to sabotage chip and reichen by buying tickets for the old dudes, cause they saw chip and reichen as there biggest threat, where as what they should have been sabotaging was their own stupidity.
And it was hella funny when reichen and chip went for that random trek through the woods for no reason, its like they are both so ultra sensitive that they would prefer to loose than say 'yeah, i understand where you are coming from, but maybe you are wrong, maybe we should discuss things'.
And after the red head and her bossy boy got the wrong directions i have decided that never listen to the directions of only one local, always get a second oppinion before you drive across town.
the two girls deserved to go last night, actually one of them, the bitchy one did.

The '"best friends" - Models' have bee at each other constantly! u could see the pain in the chics face when the bitchy one snatched the map off her in the boat. :lol:
Was sad to see the "BFG's" go. I found it funny that they didnt expect to get through any round but yet managed to get to the final 8.
The Clowns are in a very commanding position. First by a fair while and still with a fast forward in their back pocket.. 8-)
I think the Models will be the next ones to go.

man my family failed taping it again, instead of forgeting they had it on the wrong chanel, so i got west wing instead, so for the second week in a row i am asking if anyone in the canberra region taped it, pm me if you have.
Well Oblivia, to fill you in....
The 5 couples left all bonded on their break. Reichen told the others that he and Chip were a gay couple and he broke down and cried. Then Chuck admitted that he and Milly were dating for 12 years but still virgin and everyone quickly forgot about Reichen and Chip and put shit on Chuck big time... he looked cut.
Throughout the race all teams went from first to last with many major mistakes all coming down to one final spear, dart and bow and arrow task on the beach in Malaysia. The engaged couple came last but it wasn't an elimination round so they stay in. And tonight the guy in the engaged couple tells the red headed girl to go F**k herself! Great television!

motherfucker unreliable siblings undertake to tape a show so i dont ask boy or mates to, and siblings tape merrik and rosso, i saw when they were in korea and i think that was my fave episode but after that where did they go? did they come to australia? and most importantly who got eliminated, cause if there are now 3 teams to be eliminated and one non elimination round there are 4 more episodes, they cant have the elimination on the last episode, because after 3 episodes there will only be one team, they cant have it on the second last because everyone knows that there is a non elimination round and it cant be the last, so that if it wasnt on over by the 3rd last it would be obviously the next and that wouldnt work cause it has to be a suprise, so it has to be 3rd or 4th last unless it was wednesday, but i dont know cause i missed it, but it would be a bit much to have two non eliminations in a row. Does anyone understand this post?
Also would be greatful for tape of episode would pay for postage if anyone outside canberra has it or for the episode when the models went or when the virgins or the first non elimination round i would buy you a box of choccies or some such.

So, looks like I will get to see the series to the end. As far as what happened last episode, my memory is a little hazy after last night, but as far as I can remember from Korea they came to Brisbane where they repelled down the side of a building, then Wooloomooloo (sp?) where they had to swim with sharks. The two friends came in first because they used their fast forward, then it was chip & reichanan, but they drove to the end when they were supposed to walk so they got a time penalty, which knocked them back to third behind Kelly & John. Unfortunately the clowns came last because they stuffed up their flights from Korea-Brisbane and were so far behind...

Man i am so excited, i want to see the next episode now! I want to see whos car crashes, how funny was it when david (name?) rolled the car, i hate those two but i love them at the same time.
It is weird that they are spending so much time in australia, are they trying to drum up interest from aussie audiences for an aussie version, i am going to write a letter tomorrow to the producers and to win, prime and ten asking them that if they do make an aussie version to put me in it.
It was funny when they couldnt pronounce any australian names "we need to fly to Carrrrins" and it was weird cause i recognized some of the places they had been, like kelly and whoever stopped and asked directions at hartleys crocodile adventure farm, and i was there like six months ago.
anyway i realise that my obsesion with the amazing race is a little lame, but it wont look like that when i win $1000000 (actually i probably wont win, but i would plan on enjoying it anyway, and coming first for one leg and winning a holliday)

really enjoying this season's amazing race, so glad that kent and vyxen got eliminated last night.
as someone who is a frantic "rush-through-airport" style traveller, even when i'm not in that much of a hurry, i really love this show
this season is really making me look forward to going to europe next year.

yeah i used to find zev really annoying but in the latest episode i switched to finding him really funny, he's so out of his depth, like "idiot abroad styles"

pretty much everyone else is ok, the boyfriend and girlfriend who look like each other, the brother and sister who wear matching clothes (what sort of a name is ryot?), the cowboys, the big W chicks and the muslim dudes. they're all ok.
even the blonde models are like likeable.
the host is a bit of a let down, compared to the US guy, he's lacking a bit of oomph. it's only the first episode though so i'm not switching off just yet.
overall, well done channel 7 :thumb:

To be fair, the younger sister is fucking shite at EVERYTHING
She had a ton of manual lessons but couldn't even get out of 1st gear. She couldn't do the bungee jump.
