OK....so more than likely Roger Sanchez is headlining the House Solution NYE party but has anyone got any news as to when the tickets go on sale? I've got about a dozen people hassling me for answers cause they think i'm in the know..HAH what a laugh.

Thanks Bob.....but the only info i'm getting from their site is still for the party from the 18th november. Also my friend at the local ticketek tells me tickets were withdrawn from sale a couple of weeks ago,round about when Sinclar/Spiller pulled out. Now iget another bit of second hand info from someone else saying that its been cancelled? Now where to go for some quality house on New Years?

so has anyone been to a house solution party B 4? any tips and pointers that you can recommend? Is there a dress code? Or is it like chinese laundry? Any news on the tickets as yet.. i wish they would update their site!!

i thought it was interesting to note that roger sanchez was not announced in the newest three d ad. It didn't say headliner to be announced like last week and the price has mysteriously gone done to $80- seems a bit too coincidental that the price goes down and they suddenly only mention superfunk in their latest ad. - anyone know for sure if sanchez is actually playing

Sanchez is actually doing a NYE gig in Melbourne with Dimitri And Derick Carter ...spoilt I tell you they are spoilt !!

But that doesnt mean he couldnt be doing both I spose.

And for those of you a little unsure about what kind of crowd goes to HS parties have a look at the photos on this site ...you may be a little surprised , I was.

and then Rog is off to Brisbane on New Years Day for a party there!
So, what's the deal ....is the S-Man going to grace us with his presence at the House Soultion party or not???
The promoters were due to release the name of a "big time US Headliner" this week, but still now news......so the saga & innuendos go on I presume........
NYE activities all hinge on this one for me.

Ok Ok i don't have the full story yet but at this point here's the juice:-
As we know Superfunk are headlining, from someone who's been to every House Solution these guys put on my most memorable night so far there, good enough to go if only for them, these guys had the place bouncin'.
The venue has changed to One World Sports(including carpark) at darling harbour, the landlords of Wharf 8 would not allow things to go past 2am and had problems with amplified music there? Apparently there will be no further use of Wharf 8 by the H.S. crew.
On monday Derrick Carter was signed to play for new years and one other major overseas DJ is still to be confirmed.
Tickets on sale Friday 8th Dec.
For those who have not been before......if you are onto QUALITY house music that has soul, don't mind dressing up a little more than cutoffs and trainers, enjoy a funky friendly vibe(that's NOT pretentious), in a great envroment then give it a shot.

doc, do you mean derrick carter has signed for h.s nye???

and here we see another brilliant venue go to waste. wharf 8 is prly one of the best larger venues in the cbd - outdoors, indoors, parking, good bathrooms, heaps of space, air conditioned & you still get that warehouse feel.

chog-e, ... its a very um ... embassy sort of crowd .. heh .. kinda glammed up but still funky. I took a guess that more people were drinking than taking illegal substances at the one i went to .. the size of the place is huge and not enough people filled it .. made it feel a little empty and the sound echoes a bit .. it'd probably be good on nye if they get the numbers in though.

the last one on the 18/11 was very umm, well not many ppl could have been described as drunk. a lot of really trashed punters there, however from what i heard it was practically sydney-wide for that w/end. i think it had something to do with things called hq's.
