Death to Hard NRG..PLEASE

Sorry to be so negative...... but come on could our seen get any simpler. The constant drone and simplness of hard nrg. Surley we could do better. Deep electronica, detroit things like this have feeling and have been produced with skill. I've recently purchased an mc-505 groovebox and it rocks, There is soo much music out there to be created and payed, what do you think???? DEATH TO HARD NRG?????

Drem get over yourself, Hard nrg is absolutley cranking at the moment and people just cant get enough of it.
Sure its fine that you dont like it but thats just your opinion you wont ever change any ones minds just cause you cant stand the fact that its one genre of music in our scene at the moment that is actually doing some good things.
Odyssey and his rave crew like you put it in another thread are doing some great things and bringing some class acts to Adelaide and i have to say they are doing a fantastic job.
I think everyone is intitled to there opinions but why come here and just start crap on here saying that oddy and his crew will crash one day?
I think your just some mindless @!#$ that cant face facts so you try and put a genre of music down and the person that is doing such a good job promoting this genre .

Heidi, all i was saying is that i really don't like Hard NRG. I think its very simple and boring, thats my opinion, i never said oddy will crash i'd just like to see it happen, sure i don't think it will but there's always wishful thinking. I would just like our scene here to have a bit more depth to it as well as the music. I would love to go to a rave again and enjoy the music. Thats why i goto melb raves, the depth and quality of the music. I don't put a music down, go for it if you like it, i just wanted to see what other people thought.

You listen to what you like, I'll listen to what I like, if youre not a follower of NRG you are not in much of a position to judge it are you? There is more to it than what you hear at so called Hard NRG nights.

Some people like to stand in the corner and analyse every blip and blong of a track, others like to enjoy themselves on the dance floor. Variety - the spice of life.

Cmon now Woj & oddy going out to have a "Good" time is just silly, i dont wanna hear a track unless it makes me cry three different ways an im in a fluro rainforest at the time!!

Each to their own & Dance like @!#$ iz my best solution NRG rocks in my opinion but tekno has itz place too thats why we have events!! You can even choose which you wanna go too!!
