Having only just started my fitness campaign for 2004, Ive pulled a nerve in my back. It hurts when I turn around, (Eg, checking blind spots when driving). I cant do much without it hurting actually, Ive stopped training on it. Just been walking 30 mins in the morning. I can feel it is only affected on one side. Been doing hamstring stretches, what else can I do to fix it? I dont want to lose any motivation in the process of healing.

cheers.

I would suggest seeing a physio... that way they should be able to work out what the damage actually is and the best way to fix it...

I have no work on today so I actually have a small amount of time to do some research ;)

where abouts in the back is it?
upper? lower?
does it hurt right where the spine is?
are you getting shooting pains down your legs?
did it happen suddenly? (eg lifting something)
how long has it persisted?

it could be a disc problem. :)
but then, i'm no physio...
i do however have an appointment with one in a couple of hours for my back problem :P so i've got a bit of exp

I have a back problem too. I think it was caused by flinging a thread forward six years.
