So how was everyone's night??? Same place...bit dissapointed about that but was good to see it was much better organised and put on this year. Had a good time chucklin at the cars that looked like they were going to sink into the ground before the morning. Would have been spewin if it was my car though!!! GREAT security for once!!! No feral bouncers riding their motor bikes through the crowd and no snide comments as you were walking by.
LOVED the techno played that was played. Cycloid, Umek and Valentino...ROCKIN (plus the dj's that were playing in the morn...not sure of the names)..LOVED IT. Was sooooo good to hear some proper techno at these raves. Didn't really go anywhere else..thought that the techno was rockin so had no need to go anywhere else. Overall had a really great night...better than i was expecting actually. Caught up with stacks of people i havn't seen for ages cause i don't really go out here anymore.
Does anyone know the final figure of attendance?? Would like to know cause it looked like a few of the arenas were pretty damn packed till late in the day.

Well this was my first enchanted and as i have said in other forums,i had the best night ever,The highlight of my night was Andy Farley he rocked hard and played a wicked set,Captain Tinrib was amazing aswell.
I was in the techno room for a bit and thought it was rocking aswell but must admit i spent most of my night in the system 6 arena.
I thought the venue was great the set up was real good aswell. The dirt didnt bother me at all,but some stones were annoying me while trying to go off but ya get that i guess being a outdoor event and all.
As for the attendence i last read that they sold 6,900 Tickets and thats not including the tickets sold on the night and give away tickets,so id say around 7,000 if not more.
All in all i had a wicked night and cant wait for next years enchanted.

Awesome night, Krust and Die rocked the drum and bass room. Pity about the venue, and the ego's (please - big dog room? get f$@ked!). For anyone living in Melbourne - dont bother, these guys put on the cheapest show possible, in the worst location possible, the maps werent even organised at 6pm when the show started, and then they claim they do it better than Melbourne raves - boys, I think its time you actually went to Melbourne to see how it is done properly. Typical SA, trying to be bigger than they actually are!

you say the maps wernt even organised at 6pm,funny how i had mine at 5pm then isnt it?
The cheapest show possible?Again you really have know clue do you?
Better Raves in Melbourne?I have heard alot people say that Enchanted was definatley better than the last few Melbourne shows that have been on.But hey i guess everyone has there own style of what they like.
Can you please tell me how Adelaide are trying to be bigger than they are?
what because there was a big outdoor rave?Im sorry just dont get excatly what you mean?
Well id just like to say keep your sooky, pathetic and imature self in Melbourne,You have done us here in Adelaide a favour cause you wont be back here in our state, this town doesnt need people like your self in it.
Sorry to get so harsh but im real sick of other people coming over to this forum, saying crap about Adelaide all the time, what i cant understand is how pathetic you all are,why do you all care you's dont live here so why are you always saying crap about it?Each state to there own, just cause we dont have a bigger population then melb and syd its like you feel the need to @!#$ all over us,as if you have Authority because your bigger.
Sorry for the rant but im really amazed at how you lot come here saying stuff about Adelaide when really whats the point?who cares and who's listening to what you are saying all the time? What are you thinking there will be no more enchanted because you have had a whinge about it?
I truly hope you grow up one day....

well im from adelaide and always have been. I had a good time at enchanted which i was actually surprised about.
What Aquatic says does ring true in some ways though. Having just been over to Gatecrasher (green velvet..oohhhhh....i still get goosebumps!!) and also Earthcore( more bumps....), enchanted doesn't really match up. Sure they have alot more people over there but i think the paries are just much better organised. I enjoyed the music more over there...they cater for a wider amount of tastes...mine being techno and the likes.
Im not bagging enchanted (cause i did have a good time) but the raves there are much better, exceptionally organised and have alot better names at their parties. So really some of what aquatic said is true and we could learn alot i think...adelaides hay day is over.....i think we need a bit of help and direction with our parties. But i try not to bag adelaide's raves...except ANYTHING at St.Pauls. Me and alot of others have sorta boycotted the place( not that it makes a difference of course...we just feel good)...Enough with the st.pauls...anyway.....enchanted was good!!!

Echanted rocked, I'd been waiting a long time for Will-E-Tell to come over here and he didn't dissapoint me with his nice 6am set .I was especially impressed at the effort most people put into dessing up n' stuff. I have to admit I've been to some raves over in Melbourne and they did seem more organised, I could be wrong but I think because they get more people attending and more $, so they can afford to be more organized.

Kaos what you said has alot to do with why their partys are bigger and look better.
But i just dont understand why they need to come to a forum saying stuff about this state. The reason i get so defensive, is because i live here and i have a damn good time at all the events organised and it irritates me when they have to come over to this forum, pretty much saying their state and scene is better than ours,
Who cares?i just dont see their point,it's like there competing or something.
The way i see it ,is that im loving Adelaide's scene right now and im sure alot of other people are aswell, why should they care whats going on here in Adelaide, when sheesh like they have said their states are better when it comes to events
I had a wicked night at Enchanted and for $25 you cant go wrong.
We may be a small state and may not have as many people in the scene as Melbourne and Sydney but i reakon we have the nicest people at events, the atmosphere of everyone is great we are all so lovely and friendly to everyone.

YaY for Adelaide.....

I'm hearing you sister the boys and girls that orgaized Enchanted and worked so hard to make it the biggest and best party for the year, hands down.
Lets support the scene and especially the events where there are internationals that we get to see for soooo much cheaper than interstate.
Adelaide is doing what it soed and it's doing it well, bring on NYE and Stardust for 2002...

Cant forget Strange days 4 either,It's going to be held at a inner city car park so im told and it has a great line up,RR Fierce and Lab 4 just to name a couple, this event is held on the 26th of January. We here in Adelaide have a lot to look foward to this year, and yes omarschmoov ticket prices for our events are way cheaper than interstate,i guess we are the lucky state :)

There is a downside to the cheaper prices though and that is less internationals. Guess it depends how you look at cheap glass. Is it half full or half empty?

Thats right....i would much prefer Richie Hawtin and Sven Vath to be playing rather than Umek or Valentino. Wouldn't you???

yes but Danny Tenagelia and Francois K with K&D in the back room would be even sweeter!

You say that the melbourne Gatecrasher tour was exceptionally organised?!?!?..
is that what you call shutting down stages, cancelling acts, and not letting people know acts havent shown up (eg 1/2 of M@W)??

I would call that the contrary!

oh drem why dont you go move over to Melbourne then. What do you want us people here from Adelaide say when people keep bagging our parties you included.
giddyup was only saying that GC wasnt well organised, like you said it was geez, yay you had a good time at a unorganised party but thats cool me and alot of others have fun at the parties here in Adelaide.
