I woke up about an hour ago... just in time to shower, dress and get my bad self on down to Funk Trust @ Globe, but I was just thinking, why don't more girls wear hotpants? Like, hotpants are cool, if I was a girl I'd wear hotpants all the time, to work and stuff, like, you know, the modern work uniform for the 21st century chick. But I'm a guy, so I would appreciate it if all da ladies in da house wore hotpants to clubs. They deserve a greater % of the pant market. I'd marry anyone who liked Layo + Bushwacka and wore hotpants, cooking skills aren't important. But yeah, back to what I was saying, hotpants, think about it.

I wore hotpants - only once and it was to a fancy dress party. My god I have never lived it down. Guys at that party still ask when I am going to wear them again. I don't think I could wear them to a nightclub and I do agree there should be a careful selection criteria before girls are allowed to even purchase a pair. Nothing worse than seeing a big fat bum and legs inappropriately covered!!

Canberra... I'm not ashamed to admit it. Canberra has a good local dance scene (Fang parties rock) I was there till about 6 weeks ago. Got a job, moved to Sydney, they flew me to the US for a month. I'm due back this Sunday. I'm pretty keen to go nuts but my first weekend back I have to do *cough cough* family stuff back in Canberra for Easter.

I was a very advent fan of hotpants when I much younger & skinner too. I had basically every colour under the sun white, black, shinny aqua & silver. Must admit they were damn comfortable to dance in. But will I wear them again....HELL NO!!
