Hi,

I would really like to be able to use the 'View new posts' function, without getting all the crap from 'Clubbing Chat' outside of Sydney.

So basically, I am interested in all forums, but excluding the 'content' from; Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Canberra...I couldn't give a shit about what those little turd-smugglers have to say.

Can it be done?

Can I 'unsubscribe' from those forums, or hide them perhaps?

If not, can't we just delete them altogether? I'm sure no-one would notice if they suddenly disappeared with the release of v6.

I've done a quick mock-up, and I think it looks a whole lot better. The clearer layout helps you get to the interesting stuff without having to wade through all the mindless drivel.

How about you visit the forums manually like everyone else.

That would be rather handy actually.. I have a new threads bookmark in my browser but only use it when ITM is rather slow..

I'm sure there must be a way to edit/add to commands in the below link :

http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/search.php?s=&action=getnew

so that it filters out any undesirable cities/categories..

Actually.. just found out that if you edit this and make it

http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/search.php?s=&action=getnew&forumid=1

it will only show results for the sydney forum.. Still trying to figure out if you can search more than 1 forum..

Thanks Mungo.

That's a really helpful suggestion.

Interesting.

Although I think the script is just looking for a single value for 'forumid', not sure if you can make it do more than one forum at a time.

Drey?

Hold off on the questions re: forum coding.

There is a new version of the forum software due to be implemented in the next few weeks.
