son kite - colours

just got colour the album and the on air remixes in the mail and i must say i'm quite impressed with the way they've presented the whole colours package with the dvd, album and two singles...

plus the tunes are rad... been really getting into the more proggyish psy lately

thoughts anyone?

i love ticon. their previous album (which has recently gone missing from my collection, aaarrrrgh!) is very nice, and they absolutely bloody rocked at liquid lab nye 2002/3 and their party at gas a month later. can't wait to see them again at earthcore in november, will have to check out this album.

Ticon arent confirmed for November as far as I know :shrugs:

Ive got a Ticon live set here that is quite the bomb, although the production level is a bit low considering their impecable studio techniques.

from what I gathered he was referring to a son kite album named ticon... but if you were, dragonball, then it's one I'm unaware of... maybe you mean minilogue or perspective of... ??

but yeah I think he meant son kite playing in november, which I for one am definitely keen for

Son Kite's new album 'Colours' is an absolute marvellous gem that grows in beauty with each listen. MP3 just does not do this justice. I opened this up on a 1/2 nice home system and it is full frequency aur-gasm. This is standing out amongst a plenty of above average great Psy records that have been released in the past 3 months. So many choices - such great tunes.

Seb (Son Kite) has also released this month his solo album Kooler (http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=4054) which is more relaxed in parts and very clubbier in others. Features 2 tracks with Marcus (Son Kite) but it defnitely has a difefrent vibe/sound/feel to the Son Kite project. Still in the progressive genre, just as nice sonically but more repition and less soundscapes.
