Hello!
I just arrived here from Toronto...going to school here. First thing I did was pick up flyers to see what kind of party scene you have here in Adelaide and this one stood out the most...Stardust Festival 2002 (March 2nd).
ED RUSH & OPTICAL...wow! I saw them NYE '97 in TO and what a rush!! (haha..pardon the pun)
Just wondering if anybody was going to this...do you think it will be a good party.. and if yes, maybe someone would like to hook up with me since I have NO IDEA where I am or how to get anywhere (I'm at flinders Uni)!?!
I'm pretty much into everything, but mostly jungle/drum'nbass, funky miami breaks, and cheesy morning trance...sometimes techno.
Let me know what you all think!

G'day Deefunk,
Canadians are most welcome in our fair City. It was good that you able to find info on our party scene. The other states give us crap saying that Adelaide is too quiet and there's nothing to do but if you scratch the surface a little there are sub-genres for just about each style of music and something for everyone.

Stardust is going to be great, and apart from what other have wrote I am going expressly to see Breakbeat legends Nubreed, they are from Melbourne and do an incredible live set - one not to be missed. Another notable is Andy Van, one half of the group Madison Avenue who's going to be good.

As far as hooking up goes, I'll be driving myself there and should have a spare seat for ya. If you want to contact me, my email addy should be with this post.
