I was just wondering if you could get a combined aussie and British passport as my dad is a pom and i heard this can be done or you can get both so you dont need a working visa?
Thanks :)

yes, but they're not combined.
You have two passports, one aussie, one british.
If you have a british passport, you don't need a working visa in britain

If my mum is scottish and she has a british passport does that mean i can get one?
If so where do i go to get it and do i have to have an aussie on as well?
Sorry to drag up an old thread
you should be eligible for a british passport through your mother. just call the british consulate or embassy and ask directly. it's perfectly legal for australians to have double citizenship and you don't have to tiptoe around it at all. and it is definitely worth getting a european passport!
you can even get the doll in old blighty if you have one.

So long as one of your grandparents is English then you should be ok. (Unless they have changed the requirements)
Though I understand that they are looking at phasing out or restring the application for British passports from Grandparents to parents only.
Bottom line; if you can get a passport, get one.
@ MikHail
 If I could be arsed I'd take photo's of my pasports; but I can't. Plus they have seen a lot of travel so the crap gold stuff is long gone.
Trust me; I've got 3 of them ;)
