I'd just like to start off by saying I am pumped for Royal Doof! I can't wait to listen to some made tracks and lose myself :hooray:

Saying that though, it has been awhile since I have been to a doof so I would love it if people could give me some suggestions for things to take. I have all the basics thought of, but anything fun or really anything other than water, sleeping bags etc.

And a question; I am guessing it will be fine to have a fire up there, but does anyone know if it is ok to bring a dog with us? Rules against animals etc?

Whether it be his sensual, hypnotic take on house music, his deeply textured techno or his wondrous ambient material, his sublime Depeche Mode-esque synth work points to a talent that has surprised many, considering his short time releasing records. Two full album releases on Bedrock Records, (Esparanza in 2008 and 1000 Words in 2011), releases on Tiga’s Turbo and Sven Vath’s Cocoon, followed by his own imprint ‘Lost & Found’ (a sub label for Digweed’s Bedrock) this unique talent’s portfolio is a diverse beast. Each of his releases is met with a swell of anticipation, and for once in this often over-hyped world, it’s fully justified.

Most of the time, people who show originality and individualism would argue that they’re not trying too hard. This might exactly be the case with Isolée. Sitting comfortably between house, techno and electronica, his music often conveys an indefinable dimension and unclassifiable quality that sets him apart from his peers with poise and ease. Starting out with a love for synthesizers, drum computers and synth pop in Frankfurt am Main in the 1980s, he stumbled across the city’s club culture and eventually into techno and house. Cuznmatt has been bobbing around and dodging the media for about 10 years now. The authorities almost shut him down two weeks ago in Fitzroy. They aint never gonna catch him. When last approached by Today Tonight Matt crept away real slow and jumped in the 6 four “with a diamond in the back” digging the scene with a gangster lean. He don’t slang or bang, he just smokes m@*therF….rs like it aint no thang.

With almost 20years of DJing behind him, misterjon has been enjoying a new direction under the DappaJam DJs guise, mashing together just about anything groovy. That said, any opportunity to get back to his roots of deep tech house and funky techno always gets him excited, so you can probably expect an eclectic riot of bouncy basslines and funky beats. http://soundcloud.com/misterjon
