Armatura Bonus On a techno tip with 15th release coming from Serbia's no.1 soulman Subotic.
After highly acclaimed releases on Orlando Voorn's Nighvision records and other respected
labels like Kill Brique & Drehmoment his track got remixed by the almighty Technasia and
supported by a lot of big techno names. His release on E-Motionz records also was quite big with
heavyweights such as Laurent Garnier,Sasha,Christian Smith,Remute,Silicone Soul and many
others. With Relentless track on this release Subotic shows us his Techno roots with a massive and
deep track for big rigs.

Remixes come from Kibz & Dfndr (Speed Progress) for a more modern and minimal approach
and Concrete Djz for a banging metalic AR trademark club techno rework. Supported &
played by Paul Mac,C-System,Dj Mika,Patrick DSP,Tony Silver,Vegim,Lorino..

Thanks, really cool release ! Will play both track for sure !

Simon Flower (Pokerflat)
Love the new release! 'Greasy Weasel' is the one for me, low slung, groovy and super well produced.
Nice to see you getting more international releases:)

Someone Else (Foundsound)
Wicked ep mate! it's one of my faves from you ever. really nice. :)

Deepchild (Future Classic / Freerange)
Nice werk sir....good to hear this side of your sound...plonktastik! Both tracks are well minimal , but I like their deep rollin' flavour and percussive elements. Nice tempo, too....Ohh Lor brings the deepness where it's needed most. Great to have to have some stuff like this for those voodoo back-room moments. Solid werk!

Truss (Dumb Unit / Miniscule)
Ohh Lor has some nice perc, programming and the mix sounds tight, love the bass.
I think Greasy Weasel has to be my pick of the bunch. I will definitely play this. Lots of
interesting noises and sounds and very well put together. Keeps things interesting the whole way through, nice work!

Hector Pizzaro
(Pinksilver, Topazz, Her Little Sister)
i like this ep from Markojux, always interesting sounds and nice atmosfear!this one for me Greasy Weasel!

[Pinksilver Net 015] Trinity & Beyond - Beyond Musique EP [ Free Download ]

[psnet015] Trinity & Beyond - Beyond Musique EP

Pinksilver Net is over the moon to welcome fresh Australian talent to their growing and well respected roster of creative & vibrant artists in the form Sydney duo Trinity & Beyond.

Trinity & Beyond is a collaboration between DJ Trinity & producer J. Trinity has been at the forefront of Australia’s underground house & techno scene since 2002 as a DJ while J., with a history of classical music composition & past student of Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music, has turned his creative talents to composing tomorrow’s music today alongside Trinity as Trinity & Beyond.

The title track ‘Beyond Musique’ is a marching techno tune with a distinct industrial edge. The glitched-out, spooky ghost-like vocals present & combine with a gritty synth line to reveal a dark, edgy & thoughtful late night stormer. This one screams at the punters “Get your arse front and centre!!”

‘The Fat Man’ further showcases Trinity & Beyond’s affinity for warm-sounding synth lines. Layered on top of the warmth is a select layer of glitchy textures with a superb pad that brings the deepness where it’s most needed. Definitely one for the late night, together with the title track of the EP.

‘Nothing Else Matters’ showcases the deeper and more sensual sounds of Trinity & Beyond while still keeping the straight-up, no nonsense attitude of the previous two tracks. It’s a coolly, minimalist techno beat that stretches replete with deeper melancholia.

‘Beyond Musique’ is proudly presented by Pinksilver Net.

Here's the latest release from Sydney techno label Elektrax Recordings.

Godzilla - Paul Mac remix - One of Techno’s electronic percussion wiz’s comes to the fore here on ‘Godzilla’ remix duties. Paul Mac delivers the funk and groove he is famous for, with a percussion rich re-take on the original. The bass line just funks along nicely and the stabs get inside your head as the percussion compliments them both superbly. Killer…killer…groove.

Megamac original - ‘Mr machine funk himself’ - DJ Warp, delivers tough Tech Funk again straight off his very own conveyor belt. Industrial like percussion programmed to a funky beat steals the show here as it builds slowly, offering more layers and getting tougher and of course funkier.

Godzilla original - The original of ‘Godzilla’, by DJ Warp, again delivers his trademark ‘machine’ percussion. this time accompanied by a funky rolling bass line and filtered out synth line, again accompanying each other perfectly, the synth slowly builds the tension before Warp pulls the percussion from under our feet and then delivers the goods again. Dancefloor’s will love it.

Final track Africa is a pure tribal number and a perfect example of proper techno, this is true minimalism!

I won't bore you with a long list of feedback's...it's all the same blah-blah usually anyway, so check out the tunes and make up your own mind :)

benkanemill 28-Jul-09 03:29pm

All tracks are ace but the mac remix had me at hello way back when I first heard it. All class.

Andrez666 28-Jul-09 11:33pm

Yep, the Paul Mac mix on Godzilla works a treat, but also I love Warp's originals; the guy knows his tech-percussion.

Andrez666 29-Jul-09 12:05am

This baby's the latest from Veronica du Lac - with a rather sizzling remix by Bill Youngman.

Sample sounds here: Because It Pays So Thin

PROPAGANDA BOMB:

"Veronica du Lac brings together Andrez Bergen (Little Nobody) and Kana Masaki (DJ Kana Kani) over in Tokyo, Japan, a collaborative pairing that pushes the perimeters of contemporary minimal directions by introducing orchestral tune-up flourishes, robotic vocals, tinkering sound frequencies, and a Green Velvet kick, to earth-shattering effect.

Getting Bill Youngman in on the remix was something both Andrez and Kana aspired toward, and the Berlin-based Tresor veteran (and frequent Tobias Schmidt collaborator) has here let down neither: His remix is true to the intent of the original, then sears its way into the psyche in completely unexpected, lurching, mind-bending machine-made ways. It’s so glorious, it aches.

Think techno made in the 22nd Century and you’re only part-way there."

Etc. ;)

Android Muziq

Android Muziq presents: Zair - Enigmas EP {android.01}

Release info

Buy/Listen on Beatport

Enigmas. Dich Remix
A very dark atmospheric piece with some very tasty percussion samples that have been craftily edited. This track builds slowly over time with some very hypnotic stereo effects. The kick sneaks it's way in without being noticed but definitely provides a toe tapping groove. At about half way we are treated to an atmospheric breakdown which is introduced with a very tasty sounding filter.. which is used in reverse very quickly to bring the beat back in. This would definitely work in a late night set in a more "adult" club. Sexy work.
Enigmas.

Original Mix
The original mix of Enigma is where the tasty percussion samples have come from. This has a more raw 808 feel but is equally as dark with a concentration on some eery synth sounds in the top end. The track is punctuated with some craftily manouvered reverse effects and layering. There is movement through the drums to make this track drift along quite nicely, with sections of ride cymbal to give an extra level of excitement. .. conjurs images of bodies slinking around each other in a dark room holding on to expensive cocktails.

Lemonade. Original Mix

Lemonade is a more bubbly track than Enigma with a definite jazz influence on it's harmonic structure without being jazzy. While being an intelligent track this is definitely catchy and will have a fairly wide appeal to audiences. The blend of harder edged and softer samples being used for both percussive and melodic elements gives this track alot of depth while definitely staying a major toe tapper.

Andrez666 04-Aug-09 11:29pm

Been looking forward to this label, and this is not a bump; just heard a lot about the concept and the artists involved, including Alkan from Melbourne. Nice one!

https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/.../185089/feeder

we'll let the Feed(er)back speak for itself...

DEEPCHILD (GET PHYSICAL / DIEB AUDIO)
Oh man, this is totally my aesthetic - bleepy, rollin', dubswise techno. I love this release - mature, established, proper biz. Deep and close to perfect. All mixes are spot-on, but the original is my pick.

BROTHERS VIBE

LAURENT GARNIER
steve's ward mix is the one for me. Will play that.

NICK WARREN

MISSTRESS BARBARA

DEETRON
I'll play the Jamie Stevens Mix most - but really into the original as well.

ALEXKID
Ghettoness in a rawesome shape... I've had the original demo for a while and I love the way it sounds now. Not the easiest to play, it is for hairy djs (or djettes) with balls, and I'm sure they'll get the response from the crowd. Ace.

MICHEL DE HEY
Nice release ward remix and original are cool many thanks

RENE AMESZ
I Like the original and the Jamie Stevens Broken remix. Amazing tracks!!

MATTHEW DEKAY
Love Jamie his mix!! :-)

RAMON TAPIA
Jamie stevens mix epic!!

DESYN MASIELLO
original mix sounds a bit lost and pointless to me, the jamie stevens mix sounds very interesting and quite mind expanding and probably my favorite. steve wards mix sounds good for the dancefloor, quality release. thanks desyn

ALEX KENJI (303LOVERS / HOTFINGERS)
Steve Ward Fahrenheit Mix sounds pretty solid, maybe too much progressive for me; meanwhile Jamie Stevens has got very stylish 90's mood

i-DJ Magazine - *Top Tune* - “Yes, yes and thrice YES! An absolute belter of a package here. The original is a wonk-heavy wiggler with a messy pitched-down vocal incantation, but predictably, the increasingly untoucable Jet Project steal the show with an absolutely barnstorming remix. Worthy’s on hand with a backroom friendly cut, and ‘Turkish Poison’ rounds off the collection nicely. Fill ‘yer boots. 10/10″

Luke Solomon - “SICK!”

“Excellent”

Craig Morrison - (Silicone Soul) - “Loving the Jets mix and the original being playing it loads already!”

WOAH! Not really my style, but some serious heavy shizzle here. Ball-tearing and dark. Props!

Midwest Booty EP, beatport link - now available on Kaato Music.

;D

Next up, I've got a special new 3-tracker for:

Resopal Shallware, in around 6 weeks...:) Stay tuned.

Did I MENTION how exciting it is to have so much dope new AUSSIE stuff coming out atm? BRILLIANT! I'm still particularly hyped by Mike Callander's latest effort. Dopeness. Keep it comin' pirates! Please check out the Pinksilver stuff too - some really thoughtful, new, minimal-leaning bits...A label well supporting. AND (finally!) some new stuff from Jimi Polar on Junkbeats coming soon...as well as rumors of a new album from Jamie Lloyd soon. Proper!

What you got in the pipelines, Vancy?

Vance is doing a remix of my next one for Haul, a techey housey number called Grandview Grove. He just had some remixes come out on Versatile as well for Etienne Jaumet, Which is pretty huge. And he's got other stuff on the go....

I've got the next Haul obviously, and working on new material and remixes for some German friends.... :)

Very cool all round, Craig. And nice ones from Deep Child + Elektrax. Keep 'em coming, lads.
