Lol I don't know her that well man, was only half serious when I mentioned it in relation to Derp, cause they both happen to be moving to Brissy at the same time. If I can think of a way to suggest she goes to your bar for leaving drinks or something I will.

Anyway you're not not missing that much, she's a kiwi and a bit of a bogan

Spoiler:
a smoking hot bogan in her mid 20s with an awesome rack whose FB profile is full of bikini shots

Rottnest Island

GoodLove 25-Jul-14 12:44pm

Rotto is definitely a moistening agent. Just try and go there in summer and not get laid. Just try.

Best value power rack round the $1k mark?

Derelict 26-Jul-14 05:19pm

Anybody want to buy an as-new Inzer Forever 13mm lever belt? Only used it 5 or 6 times, it's not worn in at all.

I'm interested - mine just got nicked from the gym.

What size and how much you after?

airconteka 26-Jul-14 10:37pm

Push him hard on the price, I'm sure he'll buckle

Forgot the size, it's a medium. I'm not sure what price is fair, because of the ridiculous shipping cost that took to get it here.

GoodLove 27-Jul-14 03:49am

Chuck it Inzer bin zen

Poondaddy Shortbread 27-Jul-14 08:28am

I'm not sure that the medium will work with me. Mine was the large

Yeah I really should have gotten the large as well. I've got it on the second last notch and the end of the lever hangs off the end of the belt.

Selling it though because it didn't work out, it actually hindered my deadlifts, gave me massive burning pains in my lower abdomen.

he certainly does have leverage

Poondaddy Shortbread 27-Jul-14 11:00am

Really? That's weird, Derp. I really miss mine, normal belts are a pain in the arse and getting the same level of tightness/pressure is impossible.

Which is probably why 'fittest' and 'fastest' are different words with different meanings ;)

My wife had a crack me the other day for saying someone ran like a girl, its not the PC thing to say these days now.

little_brad 28-Jul-14 03:49pm

Hahaha. It was a beastly effort in the end from Froning but the fact that the "Fittest Man on Earth" had to walk a 3 mile run multiple times shows how flawed this ultimate proving ground bullshit is

Despite that, Froning is bloody good at exercising

big eddie 28-Jul-14 03:54pm

They also have drug testing about as comprehensive as Major League Baseball.

little_brad 28-Jul-14 03:57pm

Haha yep, so many are on the juice I reckon

my argument for that though would be that he finished well down the rankings for that WOD, and justifiably so, he risked losing the games with that performance.

What about the drug testing that Crossfit HQ controls?

I've never defended their drug testing policies, but IMO, I dont think its the big issue that everyone makes it out to be. The athletes competing in these games are so far beyond what is achievable by the average person anyway, so i figure if they are at this level, then good luck to them. I'm probably playing devils advocate here, but if these guys are juiced, then lets see how far a human body can be pushed with the aid of anabolics, its not my ballsack thats shrinking so i really dont care if these guys are putting themselves at risk for my entertainment, its still fascinating to see a guy OHS 170kg and then run a 5km race a few days later.

little_brad 28-Jul-14 04:42pm

Oh don't get me wrong I love the games and the performances are ridiculous

I'm just arguing against this being a test of the fittest on earth

I thought all the events this year were great

big eddie 28-Jul-14 04:52pm

Serious question: Is there any crossfit athlete who is the best/current champ (or top 10) in any of athletic pursuits within crossfit (or loosely related, triathlon etc)?

Go back to the juice years in Olympic lifting and you have a 90kg record of a 422.5 kg total Snatch + Clean & Jerk, so they've got a little bit further to go.

little_brad 28-Jul-14 05:18pm

Haha Derp she looks massively on the juice, but she is shit at xfit
