I feel that this is the same pressure influencing the stylistic trends of tracks that the big producers are churning out these days. Producers probably think about how a crowd would react to their track at least once during their studio session. It would be nice if we could hear sounds that a producer really wants to make, without considering how the rest of us plebs would enjoy it.

And while I'm at it, my two cents rant - instead of all this negativity and subjective criticism, like accusing X of producing rubbish, or Y of defecting from the true trance sound, whatever the hell that means, why don't people invest more effort into supporting what they do like.
