I actually find it really interesting and read or watch as much as possible, but I just don't believe it is nessesary to know in order to be a good/great DJ.

The way the wookie speaks also leads me to believe he is threatened by a younger generation. But what really staggers me is that he thinks where you DJ has some bearing on how good you are. If you know your DJ history you will know that the person who in my opinion was/is the most influential DJ of all time played at parties in his own home.....

If your sense of self worth relates to which club you play I feel truly sorry.
