Yeah but bringing all your gear and 3 create of records is still more of a pain in the ass + one of the better things about using serato is that you only fuck your timecode vinly not your beautiful copy of the track when some fuckwit knocks your bench

^Dare I ask why it's commonplace for nightclubs (ie. rooms purpose-built for music reproduction) to have such poor tables/benches that this is possible? It seems all too commonplace, and I'm yet to understand why.

ok guys i used my own everything decks mixer amps speakers lights desk everything and i have moved on from electro house it just that i cant play sytrance or hardstyle at a local pub in a country town as you can understand

just out of interest what's a bar worker on this days per-hour?

I've just landed a few gigs in local pub's and (its a use our Behringer mixer and american audio cdj job - same thing isnt it !??!!) so im thinking about getting one of those Numark idj2 things for ($700) opposed to dragging out all the gear, every weekend.

Has anyone used one?

bar work is usually between $15 - $20 an hour depending if it is cash work (alot of bars work this way) or paid legit + tips

if your using everything like you say i'd be hitting em up for around $400 cash. $650 odd with a receipt. Anything less and it's not worth all the effort.
