Following their superb nautical outing with the Tech Funk Depot a few weeks ago, the crew down at Lot49 present Vibrate, a new monthly party aimed straight at tech lovers from all persuasions. Hopefully the first of many, Saturday July 9th see’s the Lot49 Massive descend on the newly refurbished and very well apportioned - Funktion One on both floors - Star of Kings on York Way in Kings Cross. For those of you lucky enough to have attended or been involved with The Hum circa the early naughties will know exactly what to expect. For the rest you what better time to aquaint yourselves with Lot49’s Techno infused beats, included are generous lashings of Electro and Broken bits in between.

Getting things started then we have a huge line-up in store lead by Lot49 head honchos Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes, followed by the super talented Loops of Fury (U & A), Broken Robot headman Neurodriver, top up and comers Atomic Drop and Chevy One, Lot49 stalwart Kid Blue and support from Underbeat Trust, Russ Taylor, and Dave Zaf. Spread over 2 floors and a late finish, if you are not still skanking away to some filthy beats in your head on the Wednesday after we’ll be very surprised

The next instalment of Vibrate is heading our way and following on from round one we have another superb line-up in store for the Tech Funk Massive....Led again by Lot49’s dynamic duo of Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes and this time joined by one of Australia’s favourite sons in Dopamine, Rektchordz rejoins the fray after his awesome set at the Lot49 Boat Party afters.....seeing out this heavy line-up we have The Omega Men, Ways & Means, Chevy One, Ettica, Russ Taylor, Underbeat Trust, Dave Zaf and Mike Redfern....

Expect a menagerie of all things tech from House and Techno (upstairs) through to the dirty electro and broken influenced rave cave downstairs. Should warn you the sound system throughout the venue is Funktion One and well up to the task of delivering the very best syth soundz and warp driven baselines.....
