ITM Type site for the UK
Hi, heading over there very shortly, and wondering if there is a site much like ITM that lists the happenings in London?
I understand it would be a much larger task than here in sydney, however, if someone could point me in the right direction it would be muchly appreciated, thanks in advanced

im not sure about a site similar to this, although there are plenty of websites listing club nights etc.

the community ethos has certainly nosedived back underground over here, albiet a good thing. so a lot of good events don't get advertised (not nearly enough compared to back home)

plus londoners are too miserable for itm

www.littledetroit.net

is again nothing like itm, but it does have some listings of what's going on

timeout magazine (weekly) is the best thing to look in for club listings, though it's by no means exhaustive. for hard house / trance styling grab a copy of the free tnt magazine, also weekly

if you're not too fussy and just want to know what's happening at some of the big clubs once you're in london,

www.fabriclondon.com
www.endclub.com
www.turnmills.co.uk
etc

what are you in to?
1. the only sin is mediocrity
2. pleasure consists not in what i enjoy, but in having my way

its best to sign up to the actual club mailing lists.

www.residentadvisor.co.uk has more international content (including forums for UK, US and miami music conference) and more ppl actually in london that post and go out....a pretty ok bunch too :p

Yeah, I live in London and sometimes its a hassle trying to work out whats going on when I have a night out! RA is a good shout for more "serious" type of stuff, Time Out covers a lot of ground, but ideally knowing what clubs you like the sound of and checking all their listings is the best way. Easier said than done though!
