In keeping with the theme of the Astronomy and Photography thread, I say lets make this months challenge to take a photo of the moon. BTW its a full moon tonight...

but yeh it will be a cloudy moon, maybe the clouds will part in just the right way

though i think 70mm will not be bit enough to see the moon very well..

i shot 400mm and it still didn't take up much of the frame. Good thing i have 21mp to play with and can crop the fuck out of it

yeah with any moon pics severe cropping is needed (unless you have a telescope!)

it was cloudy all day here yesterday but at night around 10 it cleared up. can always try it tomorrow night or night after...

yeh, there are many moons left in this month...
well... i know that is not the correct use of moon, but i mean nights, with each night holding one moon, i shouldn't misuse things like that, because a month normally only is one moon, especially february..

I've been meaning to do something like this for a while... (some kind of horrible craft thing with paper) but i never get around to it, I think I would like to do something with a bit more detail maybe, cos it was fun...
