Thought I'd give this a bump, been trying to do some research but I think I've just been reading bro-science shit too much.

I'm doing 30g whey in the morning and straight after workout, 1 gram creatine light/off days, 2 gram creatine on heavy days.
What I'm unsure of is if I should be having a whey prior, too? Currently usually eat a banana or nuts before a workout for the fructose/carbs.

I've been using Beast Aminolytes lately, it's pretty good! Also really good watermelon flavour.

Too much sugar in that shit, happy to use it during a longer workout or in the morning for energy but when I'm supplementing extra electrolytes I don't really want the sugar

1 scoop of endura + a spoonful of electrolytes per litre gives a decent mix without too much carb action (and no sucrose)

Didn't realise but I'm not surprised. Yeah I have it during long workouts mixed with Con-Cret or atm Creature. Con-Cret pineapple mixed with watermelon is a pretty good flavour combo haha.

Current Supps:
- WPI & WPC Protein with Maltodextrin
- Creatine Monohydrate

Have used a fair few supps and feel that I'm better off putting money towards more food.

Eddeh etal, have you been able to find a Casein powder without shit in it?

The one I was using from GNC had no sweeteners in it but they've stopped selling it.

During work out drink - 1 tsp gatorade, 5g BCAA's
Post workout shake - 30g WPI.

Question - when am i supposed to take maltidextrin and how much? or would an apple immediately post workout suffice for glycogen replenishment?

Robot, do you still use glucosamine?

Lol, yep take it religiously with fish oil, i stopped for about 2 months and noticed my knee blew up which is enough anecdotal evidence for me to suggest it works.

Seems to work Christians! But yeah, I'm happy to fork out the $40 for a jar of pills every 2 months for something that may or may not work, downside is that I have to buy the expensive vegetarian stuff as most glucosamine is derived from shellfish, which I'm horribly allergic too (found out the hard way on this one).
