Finished it tonight and I wish I had played it sooner. Probably my second favourite game of the year after Portal 2.

It's great to see a developer create a classic style RPG and it sell well.

Stuff I liked

- No DRM
- Free updates!
- Absolutely stunning graphics, it looks nicer then Battlefield 3 after playing both maxed out.
- Great, mature story. The dialog by nearly every character is great
- Combat is awesome once you get the hang of using Quen but it can be really tough at the start and I can't imagine how many times I would of died if I played it on launch without the tutorial that is now available.
- You can nail bitches. I think I would of got the achievement for this if there was one.
- Letho is a good bad guy.

Bad Stuff

- Inventory limits is retarded. You constantly have to sell stuff only to realise you just need what you sold to make some potion. I installed a mod that gave everything 0 weight to make this easy
- QTE's
- Ending is a bit sudden and I think the game could of done with another chapter but I still enjoyed the ending.

9/10

You probably know this, but with the inventory there's a chest in each chapter that you can store items in. The items in the chest carry other to following chapters.

I'm on Chapter 3 (I think, the Dwarf village). Really enjoying it so far.

Yeh its a beautiful looking game, I loved it. BUT I didnt finish it, got too busy with work then when I came back to it I started getting crashes (probably the nvidia driver), and the patch refused to update, so I couldnt be fucked. Shame.

So true.

I was bored shitless in The Prologue, but I kept at it and it ended up being one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played.

Started The Witcher 2 last night, I like where it's heading. The gameplay is pretty different from the first (which is taking some adjusting to after finally getting well-versed at the various hot keys and what not in the first one), but I like that the voice acting is way way better, and it has more of an epic feel to it. It looks freakin' amazing too - even on the absolute lowest settings (1024 x 728, low textures/rendering/blah blah blah) it still looks pretty awesome. I'm surprised my laptop can run it as well as it does.
