It's a festival guys, remember that, leave the obscure producers out of it and use some commonsense of what a festival will book that wants to sell tickets and make money in Sydney during Summer. This is not the club in Ibiza and the branding is really a misnomer just like all foreign branded festivals.

Incorrect. My first night there which was recorded for the essential mix in the main room in August was all dubstep. Space nightclub doesn't discriminate.

I played her RA mix at work while we we were packing up on the weekend, was some cool shit in there. House, techy shit, acid... My boss asked me the exact same question when I told him who the mix was by! Unfortunately my boss and co-workers didn't appreciate the mix as much as I did.

i think its cool stuff to chill out in the arvo to, or maybe early on in the night (plus seems to end up being 8hrs of the same music as each dj plays the same, theres' little to no progression to those nights).....plus it just doesnt work for me peak time...

but then again its a really popular sound, so goes to show what i know

Ahh, when I saw 'Space' I thought Space NYD and assumed an arvo event, yeah if a club/night event no new disco after 11-12 pm at the latest. Although I think you could get away with Maceo Plex chunky bass stuff after that...depending.

+1 for Nina. She did 1 good remix but all her sets are boring. Also really sick of the over-hyped Maceo Plex... But I'm probably alone in that.

My line up would step away from generic tech house/prog stuff, but the venue would probably be empty lol

Hmmm ... laurent garnier would be awesome to see again but i don't think it's the right setting for him ... would like similar programming to the last musica event with chilled housey stuff in daylight and then deeper bassy stuff at night.
