It's Friends 2.0 with laughter 0.0001

I grabbed the first 3 seasons for really cheap when I was in Malaysia and watched them in a couple of sittings. Was relatively ok light entertainment so I continued on. It's not amazing but it's definitely not shit like some people say, case above. It's definitely almost run its course now so it would nice to bring it do a decent close.

i hate this show so much. reeeeally dont understand the appeal.

Because people can relate to it and like the fact they're borderline alcoholics who have lots of fun and some dude gets laid all the time

what's not to love about booze and getting laid.

don't mention the really bad drama!

The voiceover bits at the end of each episode are so corny they remind me of the wonder years.
funnily enough Ted reminds me a bit of Kevin Arnold too, a sappy, weak loser.
Robin would be winnie cooper.
Barney is the anti Paul fifer.

latest episode was sh*t, but then the whole show is sh*t so i dont know what im complaining about

its one of them 'semi painfull to watch' shows , but you just keep ending up watching it because there is f** all else on

i agree most of it is cringe worthy these days... but some of the latest ep was hilarious

it has its moments thats why i still watch

i think shows like the middle & raising hope bring more lols for this type of comedy format tho

they should tie it up at the end of this season - i'd like to see it done well

It actually seems to be wrapping up from that last episode.

Yeah, it definitely does seem to be beginning to wrap things up a bit. About time too, the show is definitely nearing the end of it's course. One or two more seasons in it tops to make sure they don't rush it and leave loose ends. It's got to the point where I really only watch it because I've got this far in that I have to see it through, there's still the occasional good moment though.

It should have finished up two seasons ago but it didn't, and with four more episodes left in this season they obviously can't magically wrap everything up neatly.

Did you actually finish reading the rest of that sentence? My 1 or 2 seasons left comment refers to the time in which they can tie up all the loose ends nicely and introduce the mother without rushing everything and doing a terrible job at it.

I'm thinking that Ted will meet The Mother at the end of this season or at the start of the next season. Then, s08 they can date and get married and ta-dah, end of the show. Finally.

Then again, according to this, Carter Bays is ready to stretch the show into forever, as long as he's got the main actors...

Anyway, just wanted to say that last week's episode was actually a pleasant surprise. I mean, it wasn't great, but I enjoyed all the THE NIGHT WE .... moments. Of course, the reason behind Barney's "legendary nights" was predictable, but that didn't spoil the fun. When I read Alan's review (from What's Alan Watching), I was surprised he put emphasis on the dress thing - but I agree that bit was lame...

I've watched a few of the newer episodes and they are terrible. This show is a joke.
