I think it means his Mum is up $11K, but he's down $1K.....

Still, if there's ever a time to suck it up and go begging to the parents, this is it.

All the letters and our previous bills. We turfed them when we moved :\ Stupid I know but fuck we didn't expect this.

And no not up $10k, mum is up $11k, the three of us that lived there are potentially down $337 each. I've just made a case with the ombudsman though so hopefully they help us out.

Ok time to go deadlift and take my mind off it. Hopefully I don't shit myself cause my gut is all queasy.

Why has it taken so for the company to bill you for the old place Derps? You haven't been living there for months?

So when you moved out and you disconnected the utilities did they send you a final bill or not?

Nah it dates back to July 2010, which is fucked because our last previous bill that we paid was on November 5th for 13th of October. So they have fucked up big time. It has 4 different bills each one accumulates until the last one that has the grand total. But yeah we'll sort out a payment plan just to spite the ****s if we do have to pay it all.

It all started when they installed the smart meter. We didn't get a bill after that, we just got letters saying they've had issues sending us the bill and will send it ASAP.

Ok from my post in the work out thread - today when I was doing my deadlifts, they felt pretty easy, but on the second and then the third I felt like I was about to tear a hernia in my lower abdomen. The trainer at the gym said I could have been pushing out rather than pulling in my abs, and I noticed last week and this week my abs were struggling with the deadlifts. So I stopped obviously. Has anybody had experience with this sort of thing?

Dear Valued Customers,

Biero is RELOCATING !
We will be closed from the 3rd of March till Winter 2012.

Dont worry, we are moving not too far away from here to downtown Chinatown.
With the reincarnation of a new and improved BeerVaults and the fact that its going to be on a roof - its going to be exciting !

Stay tuned for further updates on our new whereabouts via our social media channels and our website.

Also, as of 6th March, please give new boys DeJa VU Bar & Lounge a great welcome

For now, the Biero team would like to say,

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES WE HAVE SHARED @ 525 Little Lonsdale - DEFINITELY WAYYYY MORE TO COME !!

Totally off topic but I'm going to buy Peking duck at least 3 times whilst I'm in Melbourne, no one in Hobart sells it (well get it in a few years, sushi only made an appearance 4 or so years ago)

Old Kingdom, Collingwood.

You have to book and order the ducks 2 days before hand but it's from all reports the best duck in Melbourne.

Fuck, reminds me of going back to NZ and having to live without proper ramen. Ethnic food withdrawl in the provinces, tis a tough life.

Good cheap bbq places in little saigon on Victoria St by the way, you can get a mixed chinese BBQ plate (choice of 3 meats with rice and veg) for $12.

well let me tell you Derelict. intrinsic motivation is when you're motivated to do something because it is inherently interesting or enjoyable.
whereas extrinsic motivation is when you do something because it leads to a separable outcome - ie. a trophy.

Oh right. So playing video games or watching tv is intrinsically motivated, but working out, working or playing sports is extrinsically motivated? Although playing video games is also about winning so there's a reward for it.

In fact I think TV may be the only intrinsic thing I do in that case

I'm supposed to be doing some reading for an assignment on old people due next week. I got as far as printing off some of it and it's sitting right next to this laptop that I'm using.

Also, a couple of hours ago a mate rang me to ask what was the alcoholic drink we had the last time we were at Seoul-ria (it was makkoli). He was there with some of my other mates.

Fucking ****s for not inviting me then having the cheek to ring me to ask that question.

well this is what is interesting D! some people might be intrinsically motivated to work out, whereas others are extrinsically motivated. I think I'm a bit of both - I do it because I love it (intrinsic), but I also do it because it makes lose weight/tone up (extrinsic).

You know Deadlift is one of the only exercises that I really like. Most of the rest I just do for the sake of it :\ Squatting lost it's fun for me once I hit 100kg and it got really hard :\

I enjoy being fit and strong as a whole though.

Well I finished reading the McMillan article about running - now I understand the concept of endurance, stamina, speed and sprint workouts in running; and almost made an impulse buy on an expensive item that I really shouldn't.

Haha speaking of impulse buys I made like 5 over the weekend. Bought some books and some blu rays that I've wanted for ages, a cast iron slotted frying pan and off stupid COTD I got another pair of chuck taylor's and the "$20 mystery 2 pair designer denim" pack. Wonder what I'll get, supposedly its brands like Wrangler and Lee.
