today was a good day, just back from Daniel Kitson, who was super awesome again, this morning we had an anzac day morning tea, boosted by the addition of fairy bread, and my best mates in the UK just got their visa to move to oz! And to top it off, some lady at work who i know does not like me (and its mutual) begrudgingly commented on how much weight id lost recently.

Did not know Daniel Kitson was doing a show. Haven't seen him live yet but saw him a couple times on TV for the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

I know this is a troll, but PI litigation teaches you pretty much all the skills needed to practice in litigation. Furthermore, doing it well, especially the novel/borderline cases, ain't easy. You do find a lot of d-bags who think they know better and who sneer at lawyers doing PI work, but you find similar types in any industry.

Just got back from a glorious 4 and a bit days in Byron Bay. Fucking love it up there. Went to an amazing wedding which had a fucking boss drink service, ate the best japanese food I've ever eaten at O-Sushi and had fucking great Mexican food today as well. Topped all that shit off with swimming a cuttla times a day for 3 out of 4 days, and spending a few hours catching some great waves yesterday.

Want to move up there or somewhere like it. Or at least move somewhere near a beach.

Pl = plaintiff?

What's so 'lowly' about representing the plaintiff?

Derp.

I did pretty well in Torts and Medical Malpractice, but it seems so depressing to work in that sort of area, especially in Medical, based on the stories that my lecturer told us.

Medical it can be, especially if you're dealing with catastrophic injuries. If you're not working for insurers, PI work can be quite rewarding, insofar as getting your clients the best results possible. It has it's ups and downs, and it's not for everyone. It's good to get a range of work under your belt, especially in the early years of your career.

Hrmm.....

The roy you say, the only annoying thing about the roy is it's location. It's hard to get to on PT.

Edit - Cancel that I worked out I can catch the 16 from my door to the 75 which will take me to the roy.

Yeah I just realised as per my edit.

But if I catch the 16 from my place away from the city it will take me to the cnr of Glenferrie & Riversdale and I can jump on the 75 there.

In any case it's only 1hr 45 from Whistler mountain to Vancouver beaches, best of both worlds.
