We went to Global Gathering last yr and it was alright... Amaze lineup but wouldn't rate it anywhere near Tomorrowland, the crowd isnt as friendly either,

Although I wasspeaking to someone the other day who had been to Global and Creamfields, and they said Creamfields was SO MUCH better than Global.

My vote still is Mysteryland, ID&T <3

Totally agree!! I went to Global years ago and it was ok... British crowds are just the same as we are here IMO. Euro crowds are so much more up for it and friendly

Also Creamfields only has one day of Hard Dance, that's a mega downer for me

I'm most looking forward to TML & Mysteryland

yep there is a pre party on the camp ground on the thurs night! last year the stage was in the shape of an equalizer made out of tents of different colours with lights inside... hard to explan.. but it was bigger than most aus festival stages

the line up isent all that great for me.. ill see most of the hardstyle DJ's at Defqon1 and the rest at Tomorrowland. And ill be living in UK not too far away from creamfields so would be alot cheaper...

haven't been to cream fields, but have been to Global gathering... and the crowd was a bit feral when you compare it to the euro crowd.

Me n bf sitting on ground eating. Mashed bloke comes up and has a slash not 2 foot away from us. Abused him so badly, can safely say ruined his high. Never had that at an aussie gig. Nor not able to use the port a loos cos they overflowing.

IMO the higher you go in the UK, the lower the IQ. Creamfields is a mess. Unless you enjoy chavs en mass.......

how do you tell a euro crowd from a uk crowd?

Yep, they have a night just for campers! Stage the size of Stereo main stage (Brisbane) and was made out of pop up tents last year.
Camping = win.

Never stand in the front section at a UK festival - people are so feral/lazy that they'll piss in empty cups they find on the ground and chuck them as far as they can...witnessed this many a time at Bestival and Global Gathering.

Euro crowds are incredible. Know how to party but do it with class. After the Pukkelpop distaster last year, group of Dutch guys in the tent next to us gave as a 2 hour lift (pretty sure it was well out of their way) all the way to a train station we needed to get to...amazing

Bring on Tomorrowland!!

Global Gathering: Also full of carnies. The rides were sooooooooo much fun though.

I think I'll give the Uk another chance one day....

yeah true mine was $1063 aud for 2 tickets and that included 2 booze bags and easy tent. no matter how bad i wanted to go i wouldn't buy tickets off someone i didn't know. like you pay for all your flights and shit to get over there and then get to the gate and they say your tickets are duds.

yeah 840aud with out tickets. its expensive but you don't have to pay for showers and its lockable.
