Traktor Recording Settings..?
Hi,

Traktor users, what are the best settings for recording a DJ set in Traktor..?
I use the S4 (as the controller & sound card) with the new updated Traktor software, just curious on what the Main/Volume should be on and any other settings to get the best quality out of recording a DJ mix..? Cheers!

It has an inbuilt recorder, I didn't change any setting.... It worked fine.

As Slackas said - its inbuilt - you don't really have to do anything....

Just monitor and adjust the record "in" gain in the recorder panel make sure its not going over - get 2 tracks with decent levels mixed together and monitor.. - Also Good idea to turn on your limiter too if you are a little uncertain...
Catch me @ Miss Marley's in Manly on the weekends for quality tunes and amazing tequila!

Grab lotsa mixes here - Downtempo, Breaks, DnB, House, Electro, Booty Bass blah blah blah

Also change the maximum file size setting to the max... 2048MB I think. It will allow continuous recording for 3 hours or so.

the hardest thing about the Traktor recorder is remembering to switch it on!

So true. a couple of times I've gone along for an hour or so before realising it wasn't recording.
