mega

I've developed strong interest in hardware video synthesis/manipulation, and doing my best to not learn "too much" about the LZX system otherwise I'll convince myself to buy one!
After seeing some of the work of Pia and Alex live, and watching just about every LZX video on youtube, it's safe to say I'll be there front centre especially for the show+tell and talks.

I want to go tomorrow hopefully I can fit in between waking up and a 1pm appointment with the hair cutterer.

Did anyone go?

It wa pretty cool, Cody from Equinoz was great, showed me some modules and how the various patching went etc.

Now just need to start some where, can get very expensive

Left halfway through Friday's performance as I had to do some work Sat morning. Work ran later than I liked so I missed the Petting Zoo, getting there at 3ish.

Dorkbot talk = head asplode

It was good fun. The Friday performance night was really well attended (with a surprising amount of grrrls in the room too). Mostly experimental/noise acts, though one guy did a bouncy acid/disco type set, and Robin Fox was a bit more focussed with his set. Lots of cool gear, quite social.

The Petting Zoo was a show and tell, quite a few familiar faces, was nice to see so much gear on display and to get hands on with it. Talks that followed were either really interesting, or too far at the pointy end, depending on your interest level and comprehension.

But yeah, good event all up!

Any of you keen for some more video synth action, Ed from LZX Industries will be putting his modules through the paces at the Sly Fox, Enmore. At the Clan Analogue launch of their latest release on the 16th of June
