There should be a **** our two out there that will enjoy this set:

O/V/R aka James Ruskin & Regis Live @ Blueprint Records, Berghain, Berlin, Germany - 11-02-2012

Edit: Things get stupid from 15 minutes in. What is the story with O/V/R these days? It is at least a semi-live set featuring a lot of their own material but there seems to be other familiar tracks from other artists.
My mixes:

Bruno Orso’s Sunrise Over Tocumwal, 28 January 2012
Track list

Orso's Sounds of the Tunnel Vol 1, December 2013

Very, very nice set indeed.

Now that I think about it I think it is other Regis, Ruskin (& TFR) and Sandwell sounds that I recognise.

Sounds like a heavily improvised, semi-live/DJ set of O'Connor and Ruskin's material.

They don't make them better than Ruskin IMHO. He's one of my techno heroes.
Gene Hoffmann - Passive Aggressive (Tired and Emotional) 22-Feb-2014

go back and check "point 2" on tresor. probably my favourite thing ruskin has done:

http://www.discogs.com/James-Ruskin-...2/master/92759

haven't listened to it in ages, so i don't know if it is dated, but i have a feeling it probably will hold up well.

Is that the Mills/SD show on August 26th? I will be in Spain around that time before heading to Sun & Bass in September

Has anyone listened to their Boiler Room Berlin set? The song they start with drives me crazy, with a spoken bit in German or French or something. I've heard it a bunch lately but only in sets with no tracklist, can't get a name. Kills me.

5 Apr - Tessela + Kowton, Lounge
13-14 Apr - Pleasure Planet 24hr 1st Bday, Lounge
9 May - Capacity 300: Inigo Kennedy

it shits that they don't provide direct download links on those Boiler Room sets. F I-tunes.

p.s. Ben Simms' mix is tasty too. It's nice seeing no laptop and 100% skill.

I haven't bothered doing it but you could put the youtube link for a boilerroom set into a video/youtube to mp3 converter. You basically get the exact quality of the sound in the video so it should work perfectly.

If you ****s like that Regis mix you should check out the next ATP festival in Aus, curated by The Drones. Gonna be epic. Although with a slightly less hipster edge than that Regis mix

The drunkenness is paramount. It's not easy, there's certainly an art to it, but get it right and you've got it made.

It makes or breaks many a night.

do you have the jameson at the start and then consume beers or do you mix it up a bit and have a few beers and then a jameson?

Depends on what I need.

If the mood is good and energy levels high I'm on the beers. If I need a little propping I generally hit the Jameson.
