- You stop making music for a while then come back and outdo any of your previous attempts at music making

- You take a break from working on a track you have been working on for a long time, only to make a better track in the spare time in a fraction of the time.

- You go back and listen to things you've done years ago and were sick of listening to then go 'Oh yeh I think I like this again now'

Taking a break from anything you are working hard at usually yeilds good results.... Def a good feeling.

I definately love the 2nd point.. I've just done this - had a track ongoing for about 2 weeks now.. and i had a spare 2 hours the other day, decided to open it up and something i did just worked, ended up improving the original AND finishing it.. which is a rarity!! Like why the fk didnt this happen before haha
